I'm a linguist, and in Spanish, the "qu" sound does not make the sound as in "queen," it actually makes a "k" sound. This pronunciation is incorrect.... it's actually pronounced like "ketzalcoatl"

@naturefae8 That would be correct if it was spanish. It is not spanish, it is actually the language the mayans used to speak. Quetzalcoatl was a mayan spiritual figure. I used to believe the same thing as you, that it was a "K" sound, but it actually is "qu." There are very many vowel pronunciation differences between spanish and what the mayans spoke.
