I think it's playback - except for the vocals. The instruments are exactly the same as in the original record. It's improbable they would be able to make the live version sound just like the original.

Sorry you feel that way; you're certainly entitled to your opinion. But it seems narrow-minded to reject a song simply because it has a danceable rhythm. Many rock bands have made enduring music with a discobeat, from the Rolling Stones to Franz Ferdinand. "Cheek to Cheek is a great pop song; it never fails to put a spring in my step. BTW, Sahara Hotnights released 3 albums before "What If Leaving Is a Loving Thing: C'mon Let's Pretend, Jennie Bomb and "Kiss & Tell.

@DougDelivers I agree, this is probably one of their better songs in my opinion, along with their Vienna song, but then again i haven't really kept up with their releases, so i am not the one to judge them. But i remember buying their first album when it came out and then selling it. Since that first album they have evolve to a band that is in touch with music.
