my co-worker's sister makes $73/hour on the laptop. She has been out of a job for 7 months but last month her check was $7427 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more... LazyCash1[dot]com
That's a lot about electronic ink that I didn't know before and I'm glad color is finally available and being produced; that's the only reason I haven't bought a Kindle yet. lol
I just wish the guy could have answered your questions directly. 4,096 colors is a lot less than an iPad; we know this. It's okay; you can admit it, too. We wouldn't be interested in this stuff if we only wanted backlit displays.
Great interview, very informative. Mr Sriram Peruvemba is a very clever man, creating very clever technology that brings much enjoyment to many people. Role-on colour E Ink technology in E Readers, can't wait!
Reading on an iPad hurts my eyes after a while. Reading eink is awesome. I will be buying a color model as soon as they're out!. But what does this mean for video?
This is a cool video, I actually found your questions really good! You asked everything I would want to ask myself. However I would LOVE to see one of these displays used on an oldschool gameboy. ;)
holy shit that's about the best presentation I've ever seen! this guy knows everything about his products and has incredibly good answers for every question he gets.. O_o

Does anyone know if the Triton display only loses the brightness and contrast when displaying color? In other words, is the black and white of the Triton comparable to the exclusively black and white displays??
Charbax, Great video, but please pass it through YouTube's video editor image stabilizer. It becomes much more pleasant to watch and don't hurt the eyes from constant hand shacking.
interviewer... next time, pay attention in high school science class kid. i cringed so hard at microants i had to go to the hospital for an anyeurism.
@oldfrend sorry you didn't like the joke, the place was noisy with some loud keynote going on in the next room, I didn't hear him say microns, you may get a better sound thanks to my shotgun microphone
@mpz666 Never a truer word spoken. This was both very interesting to watch, but also very painful, every time the 'interviewer' opened his mouth and said "I am an idiot". How the interviewee kept his cool is beyond me, he didn't even show the slightest sign of "You're an idiot and I'm fed up of having to repeat everything I say because you've never heard of words like 'Triton' before"...
I'm just so surprised this wasn't developed by Africans, aren't you?
I wonder why in the world did they choose the 6 inch screen as standard. Why not the bigger one? It makes so much more sense. 6 inch for a book page is extremely small, especially with pdf files.
@darkyspread Because having an option of upsizing is much better than not having the option of smaller screens. In its current form, the Kindle is extremely portable; it's about the size of a paperback, much thinner, and a quarter of the weight. I can put my Kindle in my coat's pocket.
Nobody in their right mind is making new e-books in pdf format without at least adding mobis. You should try rotating your pdfs--I find it fits most of mine at the perfect size that way.
@darkstarfear That bit made me cringe. Who the hell is the interviewer? Shouldn't he covering some sort of toy show or something? It's just embarrassing - how can he not know what microns are? I am presuming that Sriram Peruvemba is the interviewee (hard to tell from the way the description puts it.
Perhaps somebody who hasn't been living under a rock for the past twenty years can interview him, so we wouldn't have all the stupid interruptions for 'strange' words... (like 'Triton' and 'microns')

1. The credit card display shows your account balance.
2. Hit your credit card with your fist.
3. The balance of your account changes.
4. ...PROFIT!?

A 300 dpi display will earn my money. I suppose they will need a dual-core or quad-core chip.
It would also help if the e-reader was $100.
