This is guruji in his true divine state. He expresses all of his love to god in so many bandishes but I find in this one he expresses it the most. Absolutely divine!!!
Swami Vivekananda (1863 - 1902) wrote this beautiful bhajan and he composed the music in Darbari Kanada too! Guruji first sang this particular bandish at the"Centenary of Swami Vivekananda's Arrival in North Vancouver via Vancouver, Canada" function held in Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
@purabi8 : Thanks Purabi. As much as I love this one, I remember listening to a completely diff. renedition in my childhood days, from an audio cassete we bought from Ramakrishna Ashram, Belur Math, Kolkata. Don't remember the singer or the raag, but so tejaswi was the renedition that it used to send shivers down the spine every time I listened to it. Do u, by any chance, happen to have that version? If not, I'll look for it next time I visit there.
lyrics please ?
