@savannahmusiclife Hi, for some people it does and for some not. It depends on how long your layers are. If you have layers, I recommend using very small pieces. It will take longer, but using smaller pieces helps to keep in the layers.

@kristennow i have layers and just did it right now. it does work. however, i have a lot of pieces of hair sticking out. so if you want a perfect, uniform look, then no, it won't work if you have layers. i think it looks fine. but just a heads up: it's very difficult to do with layers, since you'll run out of hair at certain points. just be patient with it :)

Hi, some people can do it with layers and others have a bit of trouble due to too many hairs poking out. It really depends on the length of your layers. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Be sure you keep the pieces for weaving small. That will help you keep the layered pieces in better. Good luck :o)

Hi, you can probably still do it unless you have shorter layers. Start higher in the back of your head if you want to have more hair to braid. Since your hair is short, finishing it off with a pretty ribbon can be very attractive.
