I remember when I was a little girl watching the closing song of your hit parade "so long for a while" The singers would rock sideways while on the floor. I wish I could hear that and see it as well. That would be like finding a diamond in the rough!!!! thanks, stay well !!

"YOUR HIT PARADE" didn't appear on TV until the summer of 1950, 'carleen'. If you managed to watch it before anyone else did in '49, then you must have had some special arrangement with NBC and American Tobacco!

I grew up watching Your Hit Parade. In 1949 I was 9 and I never missed a Show. It was great watching this. Thanks.

I sure miss live shows and variety shows.
