But the values that they are teaching for the kids today have changed... The chipmunks movies now give much more value for appearences and superfluous things... because it sells more clothes and acessories.

Why do people keep bagging on the movie? If you're over 15, IT'S NOT FOR YOU!!! lol It's aimed for kids, hence why there's so much slapstick humor. Besides, I thought the movies weren't that bad. There were some funny parts, in the Squeakquel anyway. But they do need to try to make a film more dedicated to long-time fans. In the next film, bring back the turtle necks that are too big for them, give Alvin his cap, and make Brittany the bitch she was in the 80s.
