Sorry I only used the game engine for data generation on this clip. It was rendered in the standard blender render engine. However, I think if you use UV texture mapping it will show up in the GE without issue. Hope that helps.
how can i get my rendered video as an avi file. I made an animation (not a game) and clicked render animation. I also picked raw avi on the options. it renders everything but after the render nothing happens and i just sits there. Please help
Blender is your best option for an easy to setup and use cross platform 3d game engine. Its getting better by the day too. You can also use blender to make your 3d objects and use another open source project named ogre to make the game environment. Its much fuller featured from what I understand, but also has a steeper learning curve. Good luck!
I used the record game physics to IPO under game menu...then started game...so after everything was recorded I could treat like manually created blender file and render at whatever detail and apply whatever effects (like video on plane). Would be hot if you could realtime game engine something like this....I've still a novice, but I don't think its possible.
is it possible to make a landscape using terragen and import it into blender?
