As an atheist I have no issue with her doing this. I wouldn't want to live with a guy, a christian or a messy person. All those things would affect how I live in an adverse way and I have the right to choose not to live that way. So does she and so does everyone.
Once again, Federal government getting involved and telling people what to do when state law already has a precedence for the issue. They will probably drop the case, but require her to take sensitivity training.
If she owned the apartment complex & was advertising leases in the newspaper for one specific group only, this might make sense. But she herself is a tenant, simply looking for someone like-minded w/ similar values to live with, & she posted this notice in her own church! It's ridiculous that someone has made an issue of this; especially ridiculous that Fair Housing Center is asking that she pay all the legal fees! Hopefully this will not go far in the courts. And I say this as a Muslim, myself.

I wonder what the UNfair Housing idiots would say if a Muslim woman wanted a Muslim woman as a roommate- gender & religious so-called 'discrimination'! They should have their case thrown out, or the case be in her favor & the UNFair Housing Borg should have to pay the court fees for ALL of it & 'chewed out' IN court!
Do a search for Jewish roommate wanted; Muslim roommate wanted; Christian roommate wanted. Now, charge all of those people just as you are doing this young lady and lets fill the courts up with this nonsense. Maybe then, the government might back off a bit and allow people the FREEDOM to associate with like minded people.
