le bruit de la BMW c'est bel et bien celui du V8, alors a moins que se ne soit une 535i ou une 540i entièrement remontée en m5, c'est sur que ce n'est pas un 6 cylindres essence. et a mon avis malgré la patate de la 205 je pense que a 200 voir 220 elle est a fond, alors que a 200, la BMW n'est qu'en rodage lol, sa grimpe jusqu'a 300, je ne pense pas que a 300 le chassis de la 205gti tiendrait le coups

220 kmh c'est la vitesse de la 205 Gutmann qui ne fait que 155ch. Alors avec 70 à 100 ch de plus comme celle ci, 240 kmh minimum est envisageable. Sinon la M5 E39 c'est 250-255 kmh bridée, et 280 kmh en libre, et non pas 300 km/h. C'est plutôt la M5 actuelle qui frôle le 310 en libre mais avec 507 ch et V10 au lieu de 400 et V8. Quand au châssis n'en parlons même pas, sur circuit la M5 E39 se ferait exploser par cette 205.

c'est sûr qu'elle a un meilleur rapport poid/puissance mais comme je disait le chassis de la 205 ne résisterai pas a plus de 220 voir 240km/h et ne tiendrait plus la route (chassis de la gti non prévu pour encaisser autant), de plus a la fin, quand on voit le compteur de la m5 on voit que ce con reste calé a 200 alors que au mème moment la 205 continu a le distancer

et par expèrience, il y a quelques années, un collègue a mon père avait une m5 v8 qui avait été débridée par un spécialiste lyonnais qui fait que de la bmw, et j'te garantie qu'elle bloquais le compteur a 300km/h, mème qu'après, quand il bloquait l'compteur la vitesse a combien on était, saffichait digitalement en dessous des graduation et je certifie que l'on était a bien plus que 300km/h car digitalement, c'est la vitesse réelle contrairement a l'aiguille qui fausse de 10km/h

Le chassis de la 205 ne l'empêche en aucun d'aller à 300, c'est son poids plume qui rend l'opération périlleuse. La T16 pouvait atteindre cette vitesse mais il lui fallait des appuis au sol pour faire en sorte qu'elle ne s'envole pas. Pour le 300 compteur OK, le digital c'est un peu plus précis mais pas encore ça. J'avais ça aussi sur mon Audi. Le GPS reste le mieux, mais donne les infos en décalage. Tu peux déprogrammer la bride 250 dans n'importe quelle concession BMW en Allemagne.

exact, c'est la ou j'voulais en venir, par rapport a son ptit poid (trop lèger pour tant de puissance = grosse perte de tenue de route a grande vitesse) elle risquerait de s'envoler lol, en revanche je suis au jus la vrai T16 est une voiture de légende, celle-ci c'est un vrai avion de chasse avec son gros turbo, son l4 16s et son poids, rien a voir a une gti ou a une m5

Ouais avec un T16 de 405 à 220-250 ch sur une 205 de 900 kg, contre 400 ch et 1T800 pour la BMW, je pense pas que le mec en M5 en reprise jusqu'au moins 220 km/h ne puisse même accrocher la 205. Light is right. La 205 à coup sûr a un rapport poids/puissance bien meilleur que la M5.

No-one seems to be listening..... It is a 205 1.9 GTI, but it has a T16 engine installed, Peugeot ecosse had a T16 engine for sale recently for £7500. It could well be original.

It could but that would make no sense. Mi16 engine with a turbo is relatively easy to tune for roughly 350hp, 400hp is possible. And that is for less than 7500 quid. That vs. getting an original T16 engine that has 200hp and doesn't even fit stock engine mounts sounds a bit far fetched.

like wise, no way is it a t16! they are worth tens of thousands ! Plus the gti is well balanced with the 1.9 engine, more power ie mi16 engine is heavier and therefore does make the car slightly twitchy under harsh breaking, so I have found out. I am of the old school as in original is best.
