Doug Flutie was awesome! who can win the HIESMAN at 5' 9" tall and break an all time passing yards in college and have time for drums. All around talent.
Just seeing Brad in concert, you know that he was the most considerate, kind member, always high fiving the fans down front, waving to the fans. He was the voice of Boston and completely genuine and it showed. I agree, the people down in the front, should feel lucky & honored to have been fortunate and privileged to have seen Brad's last concert and having gotten to meet him.
Watch near the end of this, I hope all of the people down in front who got to see Brad close up and high five him, realize how lucky they were/are, they had the honor of seeing ^ listening to Brad's last Boston concert.
It just makes me cry now. What happened from Nov. to Mar. that we are without Brad Delp now. His voice was resplendent then in Nov. I miss him, what I know of his personality through the media.
It really makes no sense. It just goes to show you how complex the human mind really is. How someone could seem so happy and relishing his legacy and then come to a place where everything isn't right anymore. Bums me out too. I loved this guys voice and his personality too!!!
listening to Boston & I always loved this guys voice - everytime I listen to Boston & I listen to Brad's voice it takes me back to those days when I was young & didn't have a care in the world - he will be missed!
I seen Boston once in Cleveland CSU Center, during the 4th album tour (with both lead singers). The concert was very loud and I had a splitting headache, but the performance was memorable! I doubt Brad Delp was really too depressed and too tired to go on living. He was probably a manic depressive or suffered from clinical depression and simply needed help (doctor, medication, etc) that he never got. Too bad he didnt get help so he could have survived, rocked on, and enjoyed his wedding day!
Brad was a very empathetic and sensative person. He carried a heavy weight, and you could see that in his eyes, even when he was smiling. From what I hear, Brad was depressed, and could no longer stand to go on living. He took his life, using two Barbecue grills. He ran them in his bathroom with the door shut. He went to sleep, and died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
I will always be thankful for my great memories of him. I am sure that he is resting, at peace with God. My prayers go out to his family and freinds. I feel glad that I could capture his last performance with Boston, using my little Casio camera, and share it with all of his fans.
now i remember of his death, i've always enjoyed listening to boston, but unfortunatly never got really in to them like i did with zeppelin.when. when i was a young kid i can remember sitting in my moms car heading to the grocery store or somewhere and she would always have the radio on and i can still remeber seeing my mom singing to bostons music. i'm 35 years old now and till this day i hear brads voice and it takes me back to very different time what memories, sonic thanks r.i.p brad delp

I tried, but security kept making me put the camera away. I would listen to them, wait until they were gone, then pull it out again. It is a shame that the band didn't do a video of this show. I was glad to have been there, but also sad that it will never happen again.
T.J. Thank you very much for sharing this video of Brad's last concert. You managed to compile the very best parts of every song. I especially love the full version of FP/LT. Brad's talent will go unmatched.
Glad that you liked it. I am glad that I bought my camera that night to catch an amazing show, and it has been a priveledge to share it with Boston fans.
Love you, Brad!

It is a live show but your right that drummer is really dragging. If anything it should have sped up a bit for some live energy.

The drummer's dragging! Listen how slow the song is between the solo and afterwards!
