Video Review of 2007 Transformers movie; voyager class Ironhide

I'm glad they found a way to improve the chest transformation when the Deluxe, Dark Of The Moon Voyager and Leader class versions of Ironhide appeared. The 2007 one was nice, but fiddly to transform into alt mode and hard to play with in robot mode due to the way the chest would flop around and feel like it was going to get damaged.

Ironhide premium version I think is a lot better because of it's shiny body paint in car mode and more detailed paint aps in robot mode. I wish Hasbro never made us buy 2 versions of their figure. They are really smart in making money.

That is MA-09 Takara Ironhide (not to be confused with the Hasbro premium).

Do a google online for Hasbro Ironhide and you'll see Hasbro has different paint job vs Takara....

He was my first as well. Ironhide from the G1 series is my second fave. Prime is my first. Did anyone have a problem with the rear window, roof, and windshield part of the figure? If you did, here is my remedy, MODEL GLUE YES MODEL GLUE. Right beind his head there is a peg and a hole. Take some glue and fill the hole in and then take the peg and push it in. Let dry for awhile then transform him. Man Ironhide is a tough SOB

I guess anything that becomes as old as the G1 figures would be interesting to review especially the rarer ones since many people have not seen them for so long or have never seen them. After enough time has passed, people start to feel nostalgic about something they missed but probably not the case for the movie line of figures as it hasn't been that long ago since they came out.
