just been watching him on x factor and he said he LIED about one of his singers doing a good performance last week but this week he is telling the truth and saying its a good performance???? all the judges are liars but they should NEVER admit it on tv

@DanielDanteThe2nd He seems to be the kind of guy who wouldn't mind having his songs getting overexposed. He doesn't have to right to trash Adele when she's one of the most talented and nice artists out there. The people who become "legends" in the music industry think they can do whatever they want... It's his JOB to hear the songs from the contestants, it's immature to talk about not liking hearing some songs when you get paid for it.

@jodelleferlandfan1 He said it was due to the repeated times he heard her music be sung badly... no matter how good the orginal is after those horrible versions of the song the original will sound worse than it did before and you can get tired of them fast. And what is the exact reason you dont like Gary Barlow and try to be subjective about this rather than personal makes it easier to argue.

@DanielDanteThe2nd You're right, i'm too extreme. But i just think he doesn't have to complain about something that get him paid a LOT at the end. Sometimes at my work i can be tired of doing the same thing again and again but i still do it without complaining because at the end of the day i'm paid. It's not different for him honestly. If i'm so angry about it it's because it's sad to see a beautiful lady like Adele getting trashed and for me it sound like jealousy. But i can be wrong.

@jodelleferlandfan1 I guess I can see that but from as long as I have seen Gary (since I saw X-Men First Class I got into Take That) he seems to be a genuine nice person and he likes to speak his mind and he will nto disrespect people that fast and the fact he called Adele about this and she told him she could see where he was comign from proves she understands him he doesnt need to pull any action to get attention hes pretty well know any way. Can we bury the battle axe and be friends now? =3

@takineti Now im no big gary barlow fan and im a fan of "real" music but he isn't talentless,thats complete musical ignorance on your behalf,hes a great pop song writer and hes got a good voice :S

I can't be bothered to go into why but have a look to see what songs hes written not just for himself but other people, you can't deny hes talented and back it up with any reason

@nathg1990yt depends on your musical taste I guess, I happen to play quite a few musical instruments, I concede, he can write some of the commercial stuff for a certain audience, but I think he's yet another judge actually not qualified to pass comment on the singing ability of others, he does a good impersonation of Ringo, all the time!! that's about it.

@takineti Well the sort of stuff he writes isn't generally my sort of thing(although i don't mind one or two of take thats newer songs) but i think any real music fan can appreciate any form of musicall talent even if it doesnt coincide with there personal taste. However I will say this programme as a concept is a terribly uncreative tradegy, contestants are muolded to think they need to sing the way cowell and the industry wants them to,hence why you get people on here copying styles of artists

This man is in one of the most succesful boybands/manbands in the UK, has his own record company, 5 times winner of the Ivor Novello Award, written and sang multiple No 1 singles and voted greatest British songwriter of all time in a poll in 2009, and he is not qualified to judge people singing? 'm not just saying that cos im a massive Take That fan, just did my research....

As you yourself said earlier, real music fans appreciate talent, even if it is a genre they dont like. there is no such thing as "real music". All there is is taste, and noones taste is better than anyone elses.
