  • My dad and uncle have it, my uncle passed away Monday, but they both had memory issues

  • he just read it off wikipedia......

  • There is no cure it is a slow progressive disease. The only thing you can do is use medication to help with your symptoms.

  • @MsKatut I have spinocerebellar ataxia, what about stem cels, can they help?

  • @cicko100300 My type is giving me nystagmus (a rapid, involuntary, oscillatory motion of the eyeball) and positional vertigo. It comes and goes now through my day. I have good days and bad days. My brother also has it with the same symptoms. We have found clonazepam 0.5 mg and verapamil SR 180 MG used together at least help with the symptoms. Both taken at night before bed and then clonazepam being taken during the next day on an as needed basis.

  • @MsKatut In my country, have begun an experimental treatment with stem cells but I do not have enough money for it. Treatment costs from 25,000 to 50,000 euros recommend you to go to try to stem cells if you can pay. Mine is a similar situation, my older sister also has problems like me. Clumsy movements, although I have no eye problems. In my country does not have those drugs you named

  • or prevention...??
