I began my search 6 months ago. The two biggest most widespread religions in the world are Christianity and Islam. So I devoted my time to learning about both of them, with a bit of time spent learning about other religions too. In actual reality, it was therefore the Holy Bible vs. the Holy Quran. I realised that the Qur'an is not a man made book. Search "miracles of the Quran", and ull see what I mean. Also the Bible is profound too!

nobody knows until they die. i say never live your life in fear, do what makes u happy bc in the end of the day ur happiness is all that matters, even if u have to do evil to make u happy then go for it. if u have to do good to make u happy then go for it.

(Exodus 3:14) Now in the new testament Jesus says over 19 times "I am statements throughout gospels, referring to himself as the truth, light of the world, the beard and the life, and so forth. These I am statements and how direct they are would only be reasonable to be said by God. We know he was claiming to be God and the Messiah because of the pharisees responses and what Jesus Says.

Religion sounds to much like mind control. People shift believing and loving God, transitioning that to hiding behind what the bible says about him. We'll never know if theres a God till we die, so why worry right now? Whats the point of going so crazy over something you can't see, dedicating yourself and waisting experiences (sins), when those are whats needed to make the overall decision?

When you die it is the end of existence. I am tiered of hearing people say they are going to change the way they live to go to heaven. when it comes right down to it you need to have as fun of a life as possible because when you die there is no i told you their was a heaven. i think there is something after this life , and trying to be a good person , or at least not harm anybody , is a good sign that what we believe is a positive and loving attitude towards everyone..even though we all have or expierence troubles during our lifetime .god is always there to help us through our dificulties..i think life is short and repentance of our bad actions ,reading the bible ,and trying to be in peace with god ..all the time ,because as u said we never know when our time come

This scares me. I am afraid of what happens, I am curious. If there isn't, how and what happens? If it is, where will I go? I mean, I am still a kid, but thinking of these make me scared since I can't find a way to believe with it, since I have some things that make it weird. I like your thoughts. I'm an atheist thought, but frankly i haven't settled any kind of belief, and doesn't belong to any category so i call my self a free thinker. But i don't think anyone are even close to the truth about the universe, what happens when we die ... questions. But i wonder if anyone will before we are extinct. I believe that we have a choice to live agein or not. If we choose not to go we go to heven or hell if we have no regrets and if we do we will become ghosts.
What do you believe is the point of living in heaven after death? I understand that Christians believe that their purpose is to worship God in heaven etc., but why?

I will worship God in heaven, because he saved me from sin, and eternal damnation. I will praise him because he gave me life, he is perfect, holy, loving, and comforts me through every fear and doubt i experience. He created me, for his purpose, and i love him because he first loved us.
But is there a real significant purpose other than the continuous worship of God in heaven? Also, I do not mean to offend you, but Christians seem to be somewhat selfish in terms of their focus towards reaching heaven due to the fact that the bible says that there will be a place built for every christian, magnificent etc. As a whole, in my experience, that seems to be the focus, the attainment of riches in heaven. Is your only goal to praise God?
I myself do not put that much focus as u say. I can see how you would see that though. The purpose of being a Christian, isnt so one can get to heaven. The purpose of being a Christian, is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Why would i want to have a relationship with God? Because he is perfect, holy, supreme above all in this world. By his grace he sent a savior, to die and take the place of my sins. when christians focus on glorifying God, in example, it could be loving on others
Christ changed my world. I was indulging in my sinful, prideful ways. But after truly finding out Gods character, and the life that Jesus lived, I received forgiveness of sins, even though i sin today. I live for his purpose, he demands we glorify him, and that all praise goes to him. Because he created everyone, he gave me purpose, he uses me to his will, and not my own. one day u will realize that you cant do it all on ur own, that u need something to fill that emptiness. God is that answer.
That idea of wanting to have a relationship with god makes sense, but I still don't understand the purpose. Of course, using that same line of thought, I do not see a real important purpose to a lot of things. So I am at an impasse. I cannot bring myself to truly and faithfully believe in something that I think is false, and I also understand that a large goal of believing in a God is to believe without some kind of real proof.
the purpose of having a relationship with Christ, is so that we can be made righteous with God. We are justified through obedience in Christ. Faith and repentance saves us from the death of our sins.
perhaps u cannot truly bring urself to faithfully follow God, but I do know God has that power. God has compassion on who he has compassion for, and hardens those he wants to harden.

i do read my bible, yes of coarse God intended us to live on earth, otherwise we wouldnt be living on here, if it wasnt God's purpose we would be living somewhere else for now. It also states that Hell is the common grave no where does it say that you will be tortured for eternity or that all good people will go to Heaven. In the early 1800's there was a young boy who was concerned for the salvation of his soul and was worried about which church he should join. During his study he came across a verse in James chapter 1:5 which says

There is tons and tons of evidence that the bible is absolutely true. Jesus' biographies stood up to scrutiny , meaning the gospels were able to pass all 8 evidential test. For instance archaeology and history support the bible as truth. 99% of all civilizations believed in a higher source.. I dont think someone just made up Jesus, He claimed to be God, fulfilled all prophecies, performed miracles, claimed to be God, died for our sins AND rose from the dead.

no room for religion in my relationship with the creator. religion can be very limiting and give only a narrow view of what our true relationship is. i dont think you need religion to find god. go out in nature, meditate, spend time in quiet, do spiritual practices, appreciate all things and all forms of life. these practices have brought me far closer to god than a church or the bible ever did. just my opinion.

This scares me. I am afraid of what happens, I am curious. If there isn't, how and what happens? If it is, where will I go? I mean, I am still a kid, but thinking of these make me scared since I can't find a way to believe with it, since I have some things that make it weird. If we do go somewhere, then where did the dinosaurs, way before Jesus was born, go? Since God didn't exist, did they go to a different place? If God was never around when they were, they had to go somewhere. I hope I helped

I like your thoughts. I'm an atheist thought, but frankly i haven't settled any kind of belief, and doesn't belong to any category so i call my self a free thinker. But i don't think anyone are even close to the truth about the universe, what happens when we die ... questions. But i wonder if anyone will before we are extinct. If the universe is eternal there could possibly be a finite number of different species out there with higher "intelligence" than us.

I will worship God in heaven, because he saved me from sin, and eternal damnation. I will praise him because he gave me life, he is perfect, holy, loving, and comforts me through every fear and doubt i experience. He created me, for his purpose, and i love him because he first loved us.

Also, I do not mean to offend you, but Christians seem to be somewhat selfish in terms of their focus towards reaching heaven due to the fact that the bible says that there will be a place built for every christian, magnificent etc. As a whole, in my experience, that seems to be the focus, the attainment of riches in heaven. Is your only goal to praise God?

I myself do not put that much focus as u say. I can see how you would see that though. The purpose of being a Christian, isnt so one can get to heaven. The purpose of being a Christian, is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Why would i want to have a relationship with God? Because he is perfect, holy, supreme above all in this world. By his grace he sent a savior, to die and take the place of my sins. when christians focus on glorifying God, in example, it could be loving on others

Christ changed my world. I was indulging in my sinful, prideful ways. But after truly finding out Gods character, and the life that Jesus lived, I received forgiveness of sins, even though i sin today. I live for his purpose, he demands we glorify him, and that all praise goes to him. Because he created everyone, he gave me purpose, he uses me to his will, and not my own. one day u will realize that you cant do it all on ur own, that u need something to fill that emptiness. God is that answer.

That idea of wanting to have a relationship with god makes sense, but I still don't understand the purpose. Of course, using that same line of thought, I do not see a real important purpose to a lot of things. So I am at an impasse. I cannot bring myself to truly and faithfully believe in something that I think is false, and I also understand that a large goal of believing in a God is to believe without some kind of real proof.

the purpose of having a relationship with Christ, is so that we can be made righteous with God. We are justified through obedience in Christ. Faith and repentance saves us from the death of our sins.
perhaps u cannot truly bring urself to faithfully follow God, but I do know God has that power. God has compassion on who he has compassion for, and hardens those he wants to harden.
Seek him with all ur heart, and he will reveal himself to u. then u will see how life changing Christ really is

i do read my bible, yes of coarse God intended us to live on earth, otherwise we wouldnt be living on here, if it wasnt God's purpose we would be living somewhere else for now. But God does promise in the bible, that those who believe and repent in the name of Jesus Christ will receive eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. The truth is what GOD tells in his word the Bible.If you wouid read your bible you would see that GOD tells us that when you are dead you are asleep. It also states that Hell is the common grave no where does it say that you will be tortured for eternity or that all good people will go to Heaven. In the early 1800's there was a young boy who was concerned for the salvation of his soul and was worried about which church he should join. During his study he came across a verse in James chapter 1:5 which says
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
After pondering this verse he came to the conclusion that he must ask of God as James direct for he says if anyone needed wisdom from God, he did.

Before I was not 100% sure that spirits or ghost existed. But, what happened to me changed by mind forever. I had a beloved pet dog that got ran over by a truck after I had let her out the house. She always come in my room to sleep by me. She would scratch the door if it was closed. Three days after she died. While my girlfriend was in my room with me, there was 3 loud distinctive scratches at the door. Both me & my girlfriend heard it . If dogs have spirit, what do you think about us?

no proof that Jesus even existed? Have you done any research on that? Because if you did, you would find out that history and archeology back up the bible as credible. Even atheist and scholars say that Jesus did exist. Him being the Son of man is another subject. Through my own prayer, and my own faith in God's word, i have all the evidence and proof i need for myself. God doesn't make a person gay. He has given us the choice of freewill, and he cannot determine what we choose. To do so, would be to go against all that he IS.

There is tons and tons of evidence that the bible is absolutely true. Jesus' biographies stood up to scrutiny , meaning the gospels were able to pass all 8 evidential test. For instance archaeology and history support the bible as truth. 99% of all civilizations believed in a higher source.. I dont think someone just made up Jesus, He claimed to be God, fulfilled all prophecies, performed miracles, claimed to be God, died for our sins AND rose from the dead.
