Ok I'm confused (or maybe just ignorant lol) but I never realized the Stuart was also equipped with the deep water air intake thing like the Shermans were. Did some M5s come that way or was this just an "add on" the reenactors made to simulate the DD Shermans used in the Overlord landings? Can anyone clear this up? Thanks!
@Geflechtmeister The "chimney" is for the air intake of the tanks engine. When they have to drive through deep water (e.g. D-day landing) and the tank becoumes partially submerged the air intake for the engine has to be at a safe height to prevent any water flooding the engine.
if you look properley the twat in the BMW tries to cut in front of the M5 and the M5 has to avoid him ! They are also a bundle of empty sandbags falling off
french must be really happy that americans saved them in WW2 but nowadays i think they hate their roads being destroyed by some toy tanks :D

Where was this taped? In Normandy ? Nice and funny. The old tanks cannot stop?
Perhaps the engine would not start again heheheh. Very very nice. Thanks for posting. Yes, I can now see the Omaha Beach plaque. Vive la France.
