At approximately 3 PM, Tuesday, July 2, a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, pulling a new travel trailer, hit the corner of the Texas State Bank Drive-In on Tenaha Street, causing the complete awning to come to the ground. Luckily, the driver of the Dodge, Mickey Miller, of Garrison and his 10 year old son were able to exit their vehicle uninjured.

It's not the banks fault that he drove into the overhang (not taking into account a possible failure of installing early warning measurements etc), but the bank certainly is at fault for the dangerous engineering works that made the entire overhang come down due to a simple crash. I do not understand why you would tolerate dangerous constructions used in commercial services. Humans make mistakes. Isn't the bank at fault for not taking obvious human error into account when putting up buildings?
