You may want to actually read the rest of that law. Check 876.155. It states that the previous provisions (including the one you just stated) apply only when you are attempting to threaten someone, facilitate a crime, or intimidate. Of course this can be interpreted differently by different police officers, however it would never hold up in court. If the cops were to arrest all of the protesters there, he would have quite a shitstorm on his hands from the ACLU, and Orlando Cop Watch.

There were there several times and explained everything to these idiots. They are a very busy PD and don't have time to play baby games. A group of people in front of a store disrupts there business and doesn't allow people to walk freely on the side walk.. Stay on the private property is fine... First, if you're going to post a comment to criticize, please learn English. We didn't have a single citizen complain that day to us, or the police. The businesses were asked, and allowed us to use their property. We didn't ask the police to come. They honestly didn't need to be there, as were a total peaceful protest. We stayed moving on the street and didn't break a single law. It is the citizens job to question police in the event of mistreatment - this isn't a dictatorship.

I love watching the idiots that want to make their political statement known to the world but then cover their faces with masks and scarves. Looks like more of a fashion statement to me. Although I agree with you jdtrickster, these cops were quite out of line... I do believe that a good portion of cops (I'm not from Orlando so I cant talk specifically in this location) i've had encounters with are actually quite good, and fair. Most of the time it's one individual officer that's going on a power trip, and the other officers "fall in line" and do not want to undermine the pissed off cops authority. That's what happened in Battle Creek as well.

There are officers in OPD whom are nothing more than bullies and jerks. While I don't care one way or another about scientology, I can assure you these officers should be brought to the attention of (along with these videos)..

1.) Local News outlets

2.) Orlando PD Desk Sgt.

3.) Orlando PD internal investigations

4.) Orlando city commissioner's office.

Yes, I do. I made a video about it. titled "fuck the police". In it, I detail how if every civilian were armed at all times (except people with history of violence), the citizen could act as his own police force. All rape, burglary, and muggings would disappear over night. The idea has been around for a long time and it's been proven to work.
