  • I used to premake all my meals... but then I came to think fo the fact that I need to get a better relationship to the food... so I wanted to spend more time a day cooking! Rice Broccoli and tuna is my favorite since I dont eat meat or chicken! Actually I havent had that for awhile.....I try other alternatives right now....

  • OMG! the filets are still alive! nah.... just made me giggle!

  • that help me a looooooooooot thank you very much.. you are the best

  • @a3treflk you are very welcome!!!!

  • Where do you store the food once you've finished portioning it out? in the refrigerator or freezer??? How long does it stay well ?? please answer! great video man.

  • @DriigoHBS fridge, it lasts like 3-5 days but go by smell really, I dont cook much in bulk anymore but if I do I make sure I eat it in that amount of days becuase I dont like throwing anything out but there is nothing wrong with the freezer!

  • hey bro can u add a little seasoning to da chicken nd beef or is dat bad to add

  • @44GPerez add whatever you please!

  • Do you live by your self?

  • @AOUSI nah

  • amazing video thank you,i like details.

  • @terran771 thanks for watching!

  • @mattyfusaro

no problem man, amazing vid immediately subscribed.

  • hey matt, how are you able to gain muscle without really gaining any visible fat?

do you track your macros? if yes :

how did you figure out how much prot / carbs / fat you acutally need in order to gain pretty much "lean" muscle?

  • @fantscheck yes I do track and you just figure it out overtime and add a very small surplus!

  • awesome vid, thank you! :) how long have you been working out for? :)

  • @omartron thank you, and for about a year!

  • @mattyfusaro hey bro,, where did u get that food scale??? thanks!

  • whats your job?

  • @WestlundFitness To lift things up and put them down. No I work as a bartender / server at a fine dining restaurant

  • @mattyfusaro Is that what you wanna be doing forever? if you dont mind me asking what are you goals/aspirations in that aspect? like work and such i mean.

  • @WestlundFitness Haha not at all it is a job while I am going to school for Business Management and specialization in Marketing. Ideally I would like to do something with fitness/nutrition but not exactly sure what yet.

  • Dude Im about the same size as you! in terms of your arms biceps and tri`s weight etc, Nice channel tho I subbed sub back! Question: What are some good other simple dishes to cook that help put you on weight and muscle lean? To get more beefed up? your video was great and it helps people like me also who work and want to learn how to cook meals like you just did! Appreciate you taking time out to help others! Hope you a swell new years!! Many Thanks bruh!!

  • @01thrilla There aren't really specific meals that are going to help you put on weight. Putting on weight is just eating in a caloric surplus regardless of food choice really. Just have to make sure you are getting those calories in and lifting with intensity!!

  • do you ever recommend any of those vitamin pills that some bodybuilders have on like a daily basis?

  • @joshandseb Like a multi-vitamin?

  • I just found this channel and I like it! SUBSCRIBED! :D

  • @PNUTSHUFFLEZ323 Awesome! very glad to hear that!

  • Matt... I love your channel great stuff bro! I'm new to the channel so forgive me if this has been asked, but how many meals a day do you eat? Right now I am about 5'7 150 and I am trying to keep the muscle I have while gaining some ... but at the same time shred some body fat at the same time.

  • @southphillyzoo I highly recommend picking one goal and sticking to it. Gaining muscle and losing fat usually dont happen together because one requires a caloric surplus the other a deficit. As far as number of meals, that is really irrelevant, what matters is the 24 hour overall macronutrient intake!

  • @mattyfusaro hi matty i seen your before and after pics on youtube layout how long did it take to get to the after picture ?

  • @Amnez1aHD about 7 months

  • I am going to start preparing meals like this, I wanted ask you a question, say I bought 40 pounds of chicken breast (in bulk), would I be able to cook all of it then freeze it afterwards (I find it more convenient that way)

-Thanks for the Vid btw I subscribed =]

  • @nokittymypotpi3 hahah well i think 40 lbs is a little much to cook at once.

  • 93% lean, 8% fat -> yeah sure :D

    great video! subbed

  • @fantscheck hahaha thanks!!

  • hahah over 5k views bro lolwtf

  • @Thejizzmaster94 haha love it

  • dont tell you dont season the meat? how cna someone tolearte the blandness. when i eat bland food like that i cant stick to a diet. thats why i just eat according to my macros.

  • @dabul2003 ehhh im easy

  • foreman grill can do the work easily for ppl who dont know... and believe me when i say the chicken cooked on a foreman grill tastes pretty damn goood.. TRY IT its only 20 bucks

  • @dabul2003 agree foreman is cool!

  • Awesome great meal nice and simple.. Nice Kitchen..

  • @lovejazzy805 haha thank you :)

  • Hey matty how do you stop your chicken going dry?

  • @MrAzz84 Just try not to over cook it to much, i usually use a thermometer to make sure I get just the right temperature which is 165celcius that way I dont over cook it!

  • @mattyfusaro I mean like once its been in the fridge for a few days it goes dry. Any tips to stop that bro?

  • @MrAzz84 hmm you can try to tenderize it and marinate it it might help a little but I mean it evetnaully going to go dry. Just don't cook to much at once...cook it more often maybe lol

  • @mattyfusaro looking swole bro

  • @Amnez1aHD thanks my man!

  • Are you related to Scott Herman?

  • @Alternants Haha no why?

  • hi Matt I was just wondering how much water you got in the rice cooker? because I have almost the same cooker but my rice tends to be sticky and some water splashes out when its cooking, but your rice seemed to be perfect

  • @Microphonechecka2 Hahah time for a new RC...the same thing happened to me - but...sticky rice means to much water...the directions usually tell you 2:1 (2 cups water to 1 cup of rice) I think closer to a 1:1 works better!

  • How long can the chicken and rice stay in the fridge before it goes bad?

  • @Jim2487 A few days, chicken like 4-5 days I would say and same with rice really, just smell it to be honest!

  • @WTSMiniEvenniaLOL haha non stick pans!!!

  • are all cookin sprays the same or is there one in particular u use matt?

  • @blade83336 for the most part they are pretty similar, i just use any olive oil cooking spray

  • how long does the meat and rice stay fresh in the fridge?

  • Comment removed

  • another great video full of information. do you season your food at all?

  • Do you reheat the food or just eat it all cold? Rice in particular?!

  • @devilsreject5 Haha depends really, I definitely prefer warm food, but if theres is nothing around - Cold WorkS! as long as I am getting my food in!

  • why butter spray? is it healthier?

  • Hey man, this was really helpfull, im new in the kitchen. pretty much im starting a bodybuilder life style. you should put other recipees up here.!

  • how much chicken did you use buddy ?

  • @HerbSmoulder I believe around 5 lbs. It really all depends on what my schedule for the next few days looks like. If i know I am going to be busy I will cook a bit more!

  • instead of ground beef, i use ground turkey man. if you havn't tried that shit yet im tellin ya it taste pretty damn good!

  • @loldudeno Yeha man absolutely I love turkey as well...i like to make turkey meatballs, burgers, anything like that!

  • What is the best brown rice? Tilda Basmati Brown Rice? or any more ideas?

  • @iKieeeX honestly I wouldn't worry to much about it, whichever rice you enjoy is fine!

  • what kind of chicken did u buy ?

  • Awesome, subscribed! Keep em coming :)

  • do you weigh ur chicken bro...if so, raw or cooked?

  • Epic Intro. Good stuff. That's the same way I cook on Sundays. It makes it so nice for the week.

    LSU FTW!!!

  • @tddcmptn Absolutely! nice and easy

  • I ate bad this weekend due to lack of time. I got a little lazy and did not prep enough food. This is just what I needed to get my ass back in gear.

  • Great video bro, keep it up, has anyone ever told you "you sound a little like the Sham Wow Guy" lol no disrespect bud :)

    your boy, Will

  • good stuff bro, clean ready to eat food, love the chicken sounds lol

  • @knightgabe hahah nothing like ready to eat food, who wants to wait?!

  • Motivated me to go cook and clean up my kitchen!

  • @GORELOL666 THERE YOU GO! haahh

  • How long should u cook in bulk for like a entire week if so wont some food go bad if ur keeping it in a tub in fridge for a week? or cook bulk every few days?

  • @iKieeeX I do it every few days maybe twice a week i would go around 3-4 days with the food in tupperware and in the fridge, you can also freeze whatever you don't use and then just thaw it out when ready!

  • Hah epic beginning commentary. TUPPPPPERWARE!

  • @CampbellFitness Hahaha gotta keep it entertaining somehow. I mean you should known you used brown paper as a scarf hahah mad funny

  • @DuretteBodybuilding Thanks!!

  • Good video however left another source of carbs

  • @killernight755 Rice is really the only carb that I cook in bulk. My other main sources that I like are sweet potato, and oatmeal, and those I cook as I need !

  • Excellent vid again Matty ..Ive reached the stage where I get excited for a TNT vid.

  • @LawlessRazor Now THAT is what I love to hear, motivates me to continue doing this. Thank you!

  • Hey could you show us specifically what portions you eat? That would be helpful as some people have a hard time just getting started in that department. Like how much beef in a sitting, chicken, and rice etc. ?? Thanks man love the videos. You speak well and have a lot of great info

  • @sirgriffinman I definitely will in videos to come but don't forget to check out MYFITNESSPAL username NattyMatty, i track everything that I eat including portion sizes!!

  • @mattyfusaro Great thanks!! Didn't know you did that. :)

  • Alot of people dont eat alot of beef, how many days a week do you eat it and is there any specific time of the day that you normally eat it for a certain reason?

  • @CJMFitness Beef is not a necessity but I enjoy it and it fits really well into my macros. It is an easy way to get some decent fat content. I eat it a few days a week at no specific time!

  • nice video man!

the sound is a little bit low thou

  • @Cassify06 Hmm, seems to be ok on my computer, I apologize for that!

  • love your vids man, keep doin what your doin and KEEP HAVING FUN WITH IT!! gon be big

  • @phillies19951995 Thanks bro, havin' a great time doing this and appreciate the feedback!

  • man u look Lean, keep posting

  • @ganee6a Thanks, you got it!

  • nice video bro! man making me hungry lol

  • @iheartbooty haha thanks man, I am always hungry.

  • The production value of this video was amazing. Also, I use sheers. They are BEAST! Is it more expensive to buy chicken from the butcher?

  • @cashmoney503 Sometimes I am able to get it on sale at the butcher...but if you just go into a regular supermarket, take it to the meat department and just ask them to do it, 99% of the time they would be more than happy to! And Sheers FTW!

  • Could you make a video showing examples of your meals throughout the day?

    Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

  • @Jim2487 In some of my upcoming videos I will definitely do that, in the mean time check out the description box, and look at myfitnesspal, I list on their all of my meals throughout the day!

  • Dude you should try using a slow cooker/crockpot you just throw the chicken in, like 5 lbs at a time, and walk away! It tastes great for 7 days, also you can come up with all sorts of sautees, mixers to cook the chicken in!

  • @TheSteelbeaver Haha, did you see the slow cooker in the video at the end ;) It definitely is a great way to cook! More recipes to come.

  • Nice cooking i enjoyed the vid,Might try my chicken that way

  • @NYbodybuilder10 Thanks, yeah its definitely simple, and taste good too!
