when does a player hit his prime? is it like 30 or 25 when at the peak of his athleticism? or at 30 when he has a vast knowledge of the game and is still relatively athletic? I'm speaking in generalities, cause I have a tough time determining which. i think lbj is in his prime right now cause his game is built on athleticism but i think kobe is now also cause hes much wiser, not built on athletics the same way as lebron..its a weird matter in my opinion

I honestly still think that. No one could guard him, he just scored over everyone, whether from distance, to fadeaways, to layups, to dunks you name it.

Not to mention the amount of creativity he brings into the game with his footwork and moves. I love his game, so colourful if you get what I mean.

I like Bargnani, but he's not close to Nowitzki yet. His rebounding and defense has ways to go. Dirk is not a great defender, but he often plays respectable defense, and is a solid rebounder. He's also a CLUTCH player, with so many game-winning and big-time shots under his belt. Bargnani will make it, he'll become a great player in his own right. I'm really excited for him, the same way I am Dirk. They are 2 special 7-footers!

I don't think Bargnani will ever be the scorer Dirk is, he is making strides in his rebounding, and his defense is already superior to Dirks, but Dirk has that GO TO scoring mentality and is also the better passer. Both are very good though. Bargnani's career is on the upside, and Dirk's on the downside.
