I met Debra at Gold's Gym in SC before a show i went down for & spoke at length. And she is a perfectly lovely, gracious Southern lady who does not look down her nose at a soul. She should not be being judged so negatively this way. Something happened that we are not privvy to the details of, & that she has not made public. Notice Steve (much ads i too, adore him) has not spoken out in his own defense either.

@TheCyndicate The MadTV skit could have been prior to any physical altercations between them. Abuse can progress overtime. Perhaps it was throughout their last weeks together is when Steve became aggressive. Debra did say she was physically abused but she never said she was abused from the beginning of their relationship or the entire time. I doubt Debra is 100% innocent, I'm sure she even got physical with him too. It's possible to be in a relationship where both spouses are equally abusive.

Don't know if Stone Cold did abuse her or not (probably did) but that is wrong and this doesn't prove anything. It's just another MAD TV skit to me. Some times abusive men can be calm and loving with their wives and then be abusive. My father was like that and my mom stayed because he promised her he will change. Years of that she wouldn't pull up with that shit any more and would call the cops if he would near her and most of the time he was drunk.
