@IndigenousRecords Not sure of the spelling either. Witza niyo refers to a beginning, it is found in the original opening song the roadman sings to start the Teepee ceremony. From what I have been told from roadmen as well as a Huichol family that I have known for 20 years it stemmed directly from the old Huichol Peyote ceremony not NAC (as did all 4 songs the roadman sings to start each round in the Teepee). Those four songs have always been the same wherever I have gone from Mexico to Canada.
this song means so much to me when I was alittle kid, when I find whereI just want to giving up cause my pain I live with everyday 24_7 due to a careless man.I listen to these songs for in couragement, and my place in this world.I love these song god bless always
DUDE!!!!!! Everyone LOVES!!! this old recording.... BUT!!!!!! Some imagwes are not in sync. This wacipi dancer, doesnt fit well with peyote ceremony. BIG issue. Shoot I have it on myspfaceboook. I wonder how they noticed it. Please don't get offended with the truth just acept it. Thanx
Thanks spencethatman , this recording was done in 92-94 sometime, with a hand held recorder, we weren't that old then....lol, but I guess we are getting there now!
these are beginner's and its the only way to start songs from the its How I stared and who got these songs I thank you. its good to hear these old men sing A-ho!
These were my songs as a little kid startin out. I still remember em. Singin em wit the old folks, when they were still around. These songs bring me back to them ol days. They have brought me many blessings. I dont hear the younger youth sing em as much anymore. Good hearin them again.
Words? Witza niyo hi ya witza niyo? Sorry for the incorrect spelling..
