I've talked to a lot of people who have lost weight, and they always say that they never regret being fat, because now they have empathy for others that are fat, and they know what it feels like. And they're still a great person inside. Because honestly, most skinny people don't know what it's like to be made fun of all day, through childhood, through adulthood, and they don't know how much it hurts.

@Bryturr skinny people are picked on just as much as fat people. my nickname is "annie" short for anorexic ever since I was in grade school. no one should be picked on for their shape.

@cherrybabe121 I'm sorry to hear that. A lot of skinny people can't feel empathy, or sympathy for fat people, and maybe if they wouldn't "joke" about fat people being "whales" or "walruses", it would make me feel a bit easier around skinnier people. But yes. I see what you're saying. Just cause I didn't include something in a comment doesn't mean thats the ONLY thing I believe. When I think about it, in schools it's usually ANYONE who isn't in the "popular" crowd who gets picked on.
