Such a great idea to interview older family members. Jim certainly does have a treasure. My day was in several wars but will not speak of them at all, i wish my mom had kept his letters but she too did not.

Jim does have a family treasure! I told him the same thing. He is blessed to have those letters. I think your idea is a good one too. All my relatives that served in wars have passed on. It's unfortunate. I look forward though to everyone else's videos.

Frank thank you so much for the video response. I think it's excellent suggestion that all of us turn on the video camera and talk to older family members and friends about not only the military and war but also about life in years past. The video I did with my 81 year old mother asking her about the Great Depression is my top rated video since I've been on YouTube so people love hearing those stories. Thanks again Frank.
