Is that 2nd battalion of the 10th infantry basic training? I too once seen action there. It's a process of turning boys into warrior men. Nearly half didn't make it. I made it by the hair of my shinny shin shin, determination, and shear luck. On day 1 you might be asked to strip, then you get metal corrugated trash can thrown at you, and if you cower, they try to kick you out for personality disorder. I opposed one particular DS, won, and graduated, but not without paying hell to that 1 DS.

ha, i was in b 2/10 late april till late june '06. we got to see lt dan band(gary sinise's band, lt dan from forrest gump) in concert and neal mccoy(country singer) came to watch us go through the gas chamber. bad ass time though i hated a few of the drill sergeants. they were a bunch of heartless jokes who didnt want to be there.
