Thanks MrGeorgeDC! I have used for this video the Vst instruments Miroslav Philharmonik controlled via midi in the host sequencer Cubase 5. I added some compression with UAD2 1176 to bring out the attack transients and a large hall reverb types by Sonnox to give atmosphere. Hi my friend!
La risposta alla tua domanda è si, esiste l'editor anche per mac. Comunque per pilotare qualsiasi suono residente nel computer basta l'uscita midi dell'EWI. E' da poco uscita anche la versione EWI USB per cui ci si connette al computer direttamente dalla presa USB.
Grazie AntoRPG! La risposta è SI! I suoni del sinth interno dell'EWI sono modificabili utilizzando il software "EWI 4000s Windows Editor" che trovi nel CD incluso nella confezione. Puoi anche scaricarlo dal sito dell'AKAI. Dopo aver installato il software nel PC devi connettere l'interfaccia midi dell'EWI con quella della scheda midi del PC cosicchè possano comunicare. A questo punto puoi divertirti a smanettare i parametri del sinth sulla videata del computer e poi trasmetterli all'EWI.
Se ti riferisci all'EWI attualmente si aggira sui 700 e passa euro in italia (con il dollaro un pò meno), ma se intendi i suoni che ho usato per questo video devi acquistare dei plugin o degli expander esterni. Io molti suoni me li sono costruiti in anni di studio di registrazione e di sperimentazione con i campionatori. Un saluto e a disposizione per qualsiasi consiglio nei limiti delle mie conoscenze.
