This strategy is quite off..normal timing should be 6:20 twilight council, 7:30 6 more gateways, 8:30 robotics, warp in stalkers, 9:30 Warp prism

also, the +1 attack should be started even before the warpgate research and chrono boosted non-stop. With this BO, you will attack your opponent at 9:30 with nice amount of army with blink and +2 attack. If you attack later, he can make some infestors and just kill you.

Because skill level dictates build time (good players will have building A out at 2:30, while weaker players will have it out at 3:30), and because each game is unpredictable, timing buildings based on supply is the best way to judge when you should be doing certain things. Max supply is determined by your supply depots/pylons/overlords and is found in the top right of your screen.

Hey Force, is there a reason why he put only non-pylon buildings on that wall and not a pylon for later to be killed? And wouldn't it be better to kill the forge (while no upgrades in progress obviously)? To keep the tech for stalkers/sentries i mean. I guess it makes little to none difference as it is remade quickly if not already made by the time the first core is destroyed ... Great video as always Force! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

@Titahne pylons get killed too easily and they affect your supply, you use the non-pylon buildings cause they are bigger also, blocks off more. as for the cyber core...its just preference it doesnt matter.

@Titahne those buildings have more hp than the pylon so it would be harder for the roaches to kill. and usually the forge is the building to kill but in this case we need the +2 attack. as long as u remember to remake the buildings its okay

@KaritoBandito559 You usually want attack upgrades because of the possibility of a switch into roach. One may think with the high attack speed of Hydras that armor would be better but it is too easily defeated by a transition into armored roaches, Plus if you get zealots they get extra benefit from the attack upgrade because of their 2 attacks. Zealot + Stalker + Sentry is pretty good against Hydras because if you FF your zealots can just sit there and do good DPS. :)

The Z player had the right idea in terms of countering this build, but went too roach heavy. He needed more Hydras and to micro away his infestors after they dropped their fungals so that they could live for another fight. Finally, it seems like I say this in every XvZ strategy video, but that's because it matters: CREEP SPREAD! Roach/Hydra vs. Blink Stalkers is a battle of concaves, and creep makes your units so much faster and helps so much in getting that strong concave.
