i think ETV brodcasters have no idea, that they are on air whitch means, any body can see it. so be profesional and use your native languge insted of ENG.
@EthioGQ Yes- you are right - Maybe just beacuse this celebration is also who live in Ethiopia and they are not ethiopians too- Hope in Ethiopia there is still one official languagewhich is suposed to be amharic (spoken from a lot of ethiopians..even though some Ethiopians refuse to speak it for ...an unkone & nosense resentment whch instead of being pragmatic 'cuase -our forefather spent a lot of money & time to teach it) All over the world there is one official language..
@EthioGQ which is used for national & general issues, general and national events- In Italy, in France, in Switzerland in the Netherlands there are people of differnt ethnicity who live together under one unique national language and flag- In thse uniated states there are people using one unique language and flag- Some of this country uses, even in the regional news- the official language though speaking of some regional issues We need to be pragmatic once a life, though away our old tribalism
@EthioGQ & look forward once in our lives- I think there a lot to be done in our country..but I think we have to be constructive & find also some positive messages from this event celebration too. I hope for all Ethiopians a cery "new" year in behavious and day-per -day lives; I send my best wishes for The Eid Festivity of our muslims brothers/siseters- I love you brother : hope one day we all will'see our country , people in a real "new life" We all need to work in this direction, though
The hosts are very unprofessional , They need to get an experienced articulate hosts. THIS IS NEW YEAR.. NOT A REGULAR HOLIDAY.. WHOEVER ORGANIZED THIS, DID NOT DO HIS/HER JOB. APART FROM THAT, ITS NICE TO SEE A MASS OF ETHIOPIANS GATHERED TO CELEBRATE ONE OF THE BIGGEST HOLIDAY. I MISS HOME!!!
Happy New Year to you all !. This is a good opportunity for us all to promise and really commit ourselves to working hard to make poverty history in our beloved country.
This is from your son and brother from across the ocean and joy for you all.
