The serious isn't a proper spin-off.
The reason is simple Amanda is black in the serious but white in the films. Steve is married in the films but in the serious he has never been married. Jack has a different surname in the serious.
In Jake and The Fat Man, Mark wasn't married and had no children.

I had someone else check as it works for me still and it seems to be fine. Whenever i have problems viewing videos on you tube, i find clearing my cookies etc seems to do the trick,
