  • i also had a dream a couple weeks ago... i was in Disney world and Kenton Duty from i guess Shake it up on Disney channel... something like that... was there and he knew me, and offered me an acting job.. of course i accepted but when i got to the set i found out i was playing a hobo so i quit, then got payed a million bucks from a goat that could talk and was named Billy, so uhh.. yeah :D

  • then what happened is that when we were on the highway we saw him AGAIN! My friend was able to see him then... all screaming and stuff, and i rlly dont get her obsession, i was all cool n stuff, so THEN when we got to atlanta in the building we saw him yet again and instead of just waving saying "Hey girls wussup!" he said that AND hugged us all... for some reason ME the most... the thing is i was excited about it and happy!! UCK!!!

  • I once had a strange dream... about 2 days ago... well what happened is i was going on a chorus evaluation field trip to chorus evaluation and in our chorus room we all got gift bags for a reason, then on our bus to Atlanta (thats where it was) we saw a limo... now i know there r gonna b a BUNCH of haters but then i saw Justin Bieber pull up... I dont even like him.. Then my friend came and sat next to me but she didnt see him so i told her " you just missed fricken JUSTIN BIEBER" (continuing)

  • @wordreet You need a SatNav...so much fun especially if it has a sexy speaking voice on it....like mine (James Nesbitt sound-a-like)!

I know Avon Road, in Whaddon, it's just off Hewlett road which incidentally was where I had a flat when I was 20, except I was down the other end of the road near the town centre!! You should find it easily enough, Cheltenham isn't huge!!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 My bro's house is ridiculous! He's managed to buy a 3 bed semi with a front garden, a garage and a HUGE back garden (it's on a bend in the road) for £140,000!!!!

  • @wordreet Wow, that's a really good price for Chelters, it's a phenomenally expensive place to buy property!! Did you have any trouble finding it with your Google map? Just being nosy, but why has he moved from London to Cheltenham, people tend to do that when they retire.... anyway, he'll be handy for the racecourse?

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 He moved for family reasons, but he was in Enfield, where a 3 bed semi with NO garage is £100,000 more. ;¬)

  • Respond to this video... Wait a minute! Why would I find James Nesbitt sexy???? |¬[

  • @wordreet Lol, just read back what I wrote!! My TomTom also has a posh radio 4 laydee voice and a few other assorted male/female voices...it's not ALL about the sexy Irish male voices, you know!! I would like the voice of Neil Oliver from 'Coast', given the choice ;)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Joanna Lumley for me!!! :¬P No! Perhaps not. Me swooning as I approach my M5 turnoff is probably not ideal!

  • The content of your dreams is not nearly as important as the fact that you aren't sleeping well Jo. I recommend late night massages and a warm comforting partner.

  • @wordreet My sleeping is so rubbish atm, and the dreams so vivid, I sometimes wonder why i bother trying to sleep....oh yeh, work, that's it!!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 You could try background sounds as you go to bed and while you sleep. I have a link on my channel to freesound where I have created and uploaded artificial sounds such as white noise etc, but there are lots of things you can try. Natural sounds like breaking waves, woodland sounds, mountain stream. That sort of thing. I'm supposed to be using it too, but I forget.

  • @wordreet I use all of those kinds of backgound sounds for relaxation and yoga, but when I'm trying to sleep (and I definitely never, ever sleep during daylight hours) I like 'real' quiet!! I always sleep really well when I go away somewhere miles from urban noise and motorway traffic noise being carried over from the M1 on a prevailing wind!! I hope to move back to Gloucestershire before too long!!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 It seems to me that you would be the sort of person that would go insane if you had chronic tinnitus! Hey, I'm off the Gloucestershire tomorrow, my bro is having a house warming party at his new place in Cheltenham. Hmm, he's lived in London for 30 years, so he'll prolly be enjoying the quiet too!

  • @wordreet You're not wrong there! I have had problems with blocked ears from time to time and had to have them syringed.....the tinnitus was unbearable, and the fact that when i spoke i didn't know how loud i was speaking was so annoying!!

I'm from Cheltenham originally and my parents and my elder sister & family still live there!! I was down there a couple of weekends ago! What part of Cheltenham has your brother moved to? I'm very envious as I would like to move back there in the future!!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 I was very disappointed after having my ears syringed one time. When she had finished, the nurse said "You've got lovely ears now!" I immediately expressed the opinion that we should marry because of my ears! But she showed me a ring on her finger, saying "Sorry no can do." I understood her declining my offer, but have no idea if the ring was significant or not.

My bro is in Avon Rd is all I know, but I'm about to print off a google map to avoid the usual lost feeling. ;¬)

  • @wordreet I checked out the 'freesound'....interesting concept! I particularly found the 'Big wave to shallow' very relaxing and lay on the bed with it playing and nodded off for a few minutes!! A catnap was just what i needed!! thanks :)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Wow Jo! Thanks for the report, I'm so pleased that you had some benefit from my sound uploads! ♥ Lots of folks have been downloading my sounds, but you're the first one to give me any feedback. I'm now inspired to get on and make a few more. The fact that you found the more bassy sound relaxing would probably indicate something to a hearing specialist. Because most of my hearing loss is around 'speech' levels, I seem to get on with the pink noise type sounds with more treble.

  • @wordreet I'll be going windsurfing beforehand though! ;¬)

  • Symbols in dream will mean different things to different people and that is why I don't think a dictionary of dream symbols works well. Pizza to you represents something temptingly delicious but you know you should not eat because of gluten. Think back to the day before, what was in your life that was tempting and you knew it was not right for you. That part of your dream reinforced for you wisdom not to partake of something harmful to you even if you wanted it or was hungry for it.

  • @clairemayjune That makes a lot of sense...thinking back to the day before, there was something....... :)

I didn't used to remember my dreams, but i'm currently waking up a lot at night so the dreams are very memorable!!

  • @JustinJamesUK Thanks for your input JJ, dreams are weird, that's for sure!! I think they expose the subconscious! I probably feel something is missing from my life??

  • seems like I am missing a lot of video's because they are not showing up in my sub box. guess only you can figure out what the dream meant. not sure what that would all mean. cleaning up paint with an old sock...if I knew you better, I'd probably be able to figure that one out but the pizza one doesn't really stick out to me. thanks for the video response Jo ;) sweet dreams.

  • @TheDarksEmpyrean Yeh, Al, I don't get lots of vids appearing in my sub box, very annoying cos one justs assumes that there are no new vids from that subscriber!! If i haven't seen a vid from a regular conrtributor in a week or two I go looking, just in case!!

My dreams are very weird atm, that's all I can say!! I don't know what they mean!!

  • @mavidbabae In dreams, socks always seem to appear as if from nowhere ;)

  • those old socks come in handy even in dreams eh jo :O)

  • I used to have these weird dreams of compulsive running then over a cliffs edge falling in slow motion with overwhelming anticipation of impact then softly land, relieved only for my legs to take off again toward the next cliffs edge, ditto. Thoroughly exhausting work, mentally and physically!

  • @GrumpSkull Did you do that classic thing they do on cartoons, when they run over the edge of a cliff and hover for a few seconds still running in mid air, before realising where they are and suddenly plummeting down towards the ground ;)

Agreed, dreams can be completely exhausting, and can also leave me with a really morbid feeling for the rest of the day! Sometimes they seem to make reasonable sense and yet at other times they are utterly bonkers and totally surreal.....fascinating though!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Yes but no sudden drop it's a slow acceleration then slowing again for touchdown, gritting teeth. I find I need to recap at least some of my dream upon waking then later when I have time, I am able to remember most but not all of it. If I shrug it off when waking it is easy to forget it entirely unless of course I get the dé·jà vu thing which is weird. Some are vivid and realistic, some I control the course of and some are like a salvador dali painting. Ha ha! What time is it?

  • @GrumpSkull I had the same dream a couple of times, that I was on an aeroplane that was in the air, but my 'reality' kept switching from me actually being on the plane to then being on the ground watching the plane fly over! I knew the plane was about to crash, and I watched it from the ground......as soon as it did, my brain just switched off all vision and all I could hear was a long, monotonous note, like at the end of a transmission! It was horrible!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 That is a strange one, Maybe you should travel by bus, a single decker just in case.

  • Ha ha, All those people in your life who think you're a bit wacky for doing creative dabbling that needs a bit of a tidy up and laughing at your broken tomatoe plant is just mean. Then they feast on all those ordered pizzas that you would just love to have but can't. Oh well humble pie will do but they still get it wrong, they just don't understand do they!

  • @GrumpSkull Humble pie is fine so long as it's gluten-free, but those inconsiderate strangers in my dream probably scoffed it after eating all of the pizza...last time I leave the back door unlocked in my subconscious ;)

  • @ThePigFacedDog No, but I might now, you sod!! :p I want more exciting dreams that being an enormous vessel filled with hot air, TY very much!!

  • Did you dream you where a hot air balloon? *teehee*

  • @ThePigFacedDog Do you dream about your love of pies, Josh ;)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 I do... like the song from Warrant. ;)

  • Apparently dreaming about vegetables signifies a very dull life!!!!!!!! I need some new hobbies, obviously!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Ha, ha!

  • I have lots of very weird dreams, mostly subtly menacing ones, no surprise there... When I was on anti-depressants, now those were some full-on colourful dreams!

  • @ModerateMartian I have a repetitive dream about a house with 2 cellar rooms! One room is a bright & happy place, the other is dark & creepy! When I go into the dark, evil room, the feeling of doom & gloom is overwhelming! In the corner of the room there's a cupboard that I'm intrigued by, but wouldn't want to open, cos I'm afraid of what might be inside!

I have had this same dream a few times, over the last couple of years! It's like a video being replayed! It always leaves me feeling weird!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 The cupboard could contain something from your past that you don't want to face at the moment? I dunno really. I have some dreams where, although slightly surreal, everything seems quite normal on the surface by there's a feeling of something dark and menacing under the surface of everything.

  • @ModerateMartian

I remember two repetitive dreams I had as a kid, one was about opening my wardrobe and Dracula was in there amongst the clothes, another one about being able to fly down the stairs. These were the dreams but it feels like they continued into my real life. The first one it feels like I tried flying but fell down the stairs and the second my sister was hiding in the wardrobe (it can be said she's a psychic vampire). Don't know if either parts happened in real life.

  • @ModerateMartian I used to dream of flying downstairs too! I also used to dream a lot that I was crossing a road and was aware a car was coming but was desperately crawling towards the kerb to get my legs of the road...but I always woke up at this point!! The Dracula dream sounds quite scary for a kid to have!!

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 I wonder what flying downstairs is all about? Someone writes: "To deal with them we had to develop several major abilities, such as steady balance, confidence, control of fear of falling, strength of purpose. Therefore, stairs represent many feelings in connection with achievement, failure, climbing and falling."

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Another quote from Tony Crisp website "As with a road or river. This usually depicts change, but sometimes with difficulties, depending on the dream.". Yes the dream I had was very scary, like a lot of bad dreams I've had (I have a lot even to this day, although only remember a few) it's mostly about mood. Dreams... interesting subject for sure.

  • @ModerateMartian From what I understand of dreams, if there is anything in them, houses (in dreams) represent yourself, and the lower floors of the house represent your subconscious! So, yes, the cupboard, in this room could well be 'my' personal Pandora's box.....best keep the door padlocked ;)

  • Yes, your subconscious is telling you that you need to eat more, and this is keeping you awake, and because you're not getting enough sleep your subconscious isn't relaying the correct messages to your sleepy mind, and is now telling you that you eat too much.

    Confused - I know I am.

  • @g4rdenspoon So, in a nutshell (there's nothing cos I've eating the contents), you're saying eat more but maybe play a subliminal message to my brain to confuse it, into thinking I've eaten less than I actually wanted to....thanks, it all makes sense now ;)

  • Jo this dream is so weird I love it. You are going to have to start asking the question before you slip into a dream "Is this dream gluten free?". How dare those laughing people walk through your paint and enjoy this misfortune of your broken tomato plant.

  • @cheekychickenhead I'm never going to forgive those ignorant people (whoever they were) for laughing at my vegetable tragedy and walking their green footprints through the house.....however, they may be able to redeem themselves in a future dream if they were to bring me gluten-free pizza and lots of other goodies ;)

  • You been on those funny cigarettes again Jo lol

  • @Coffeeandasliceolife You'd think so, wouldn't you!! I often wake myself up laughing....never sure why....perhaps it's insanity ;)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 As long as its laughing and not crying

  • @Coffeeandasliceolife Not so far :)

  • I love playing with peoples minds when they sleep ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • @BobAndDogHardnut Bob, you and Dog Hardnut are truly evil, and should quit meddling with peoples' dreams.....I think it was 'you' who broke my tomato plant, knocked my gloss paint over and caused the hilarity at my expense :p

  • Green Gloss paint ....I think you are wanting to hear the patter of little green feet around the house. To succeed you need to eat lots of sweetcorn or find an available Green Giant who you suspect will poison you by gradual gluten over dosing.

Alternatively ....just stop eating cheese late at night

  • @StubyStubyDoo The pitter patter of little green feet.....are you talking about me adopting some frogs?

Funny thing is I'm actually growing sweetcorn in my garden, so hopefully will be eating it with gay abandon in a few weeks time!! A green giant might be a jolly distraction from the glutenous dreams....give up cheese....at night, are you kidding.... I was obviously a mouse in a former life ;)

  • @rogionline I'd just settle for the cash atm ;)

  • @rogionline .....but I loathe the royal family

    ;)

  • The meaning is clear - you are going to marry a handsome man, win a large amount of money in a lottery, move into a beautiful stately home with servants, and live happily ever after :)

  • I have absolutely insane dreams whenever I take one of those Nytol pills.

  • @TheVidkid67 I thought they were supposed to induce peaceful slumbers.....are you sure they were Nytol? ;)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 They do, but they don't make your dreams more vivid...for me anyway.

  • A distinct pattern. On both occasions there was hope and then you faced disappointment. Painting shoes(Dorothy, Wizard of Oz, dreams) with green gloss paint. Green leads you to green fingers which you might get from painting/growing. It was hopeful, you were growing things, making progress. The people belittled your efforts, maybe you don't feel you have enough support for your aims - disappointed. Paul suggested the Pizza, you were enthusiastic, but then more disappointment. Break the pattern.

  • @dhatje Wow, Dominic, that brought out goosebumps!! I see the pattern....now for breaking it ;)

  • @dhatje Excellent analysis Dominic! The Pizza bit I was getting more longing (not necessarily pizza, I know what Freud would say...) and disappointment.

  • @ModerateMartian It sounds like I'm leading a very disappointing life!! Disappointment dogging my every footstep!! What would Freud say, who knows, but he was a tad obsessed ;)

  • @Wysiwygnuttyjo51 Yes just a tad. If someone said to "him sorry I'm late for the appointment, I had to pump up the tyre on my bike because it had a hole in it" he would have a field day!

  • @ModerateMartian That made me snigger!! ;)

  • Dreams can be very weird and funny but also frighting, I had a dream were i was shot in the chest, only to wake up with a pain in the exact spot were i was shot????? lol

  • @itsCARLDOUGLAS Weird...or it could have been that you had the pain in your chest, then your unconscious brain interprated that, as being shot from something in your memory that you had seen! I don't know....just a thought ;)

  • Sorry, that dream was meant for me. I was just out looking at the tomatoes, thinking I need to paint the shed and wondering if I have enough jalapenos to make a pizza.

  • @Myk63 I thought it wasn't my dream, Mike.....perhaps the dream fairy might get it right tonight and I can dream about Johnny Depp as Captn Jack, and me marooned on a desert island together ;)

  • @ljewkes Thanks, Loni, it was a bargain, in a sale in town yesterday...I love it! I'm normally so scruffy and wear tatty jeans, it's nice to dress a bit more feminine sometimes :)

  • how strange, love your dress, i have been looking for dresses like that one! very beautiful!

  • @TUCKERZONE I'm easily confused....what do you mean by reversing my dreams??

  • @Barneynaga Those jelly babies had it coming...they were taunting me from their little yellow bag!! I should write a food diary to see if what I eat affects my dreams! I fear the diary would be very heavily nut-orientated!! Maybe it's the nuts....I blummin' hope not ;)

  • They say to reverse your Dreams Jo Hope this info was Helpful Don't want to Confuse you hahahaa

  • @lapisredux Sure, it's green and glossy, and filled with shoes and socks ;) It's jacked up on bricks atm ;)

  • @garryentropy I need to cut down on the cheese before bedtime, I think!! How clever of you to think that I'm concerned about my toms ripening!! They have been slow this year!! Of course it doesn't help when people damage your plants, in your dreams ;)

  • did you say you were in your porsche?....can we see it?

  • eat more before you go to bed and then you won't be hungry in your sleep, and don't worry that your tomatoes will not ripen before summer is over.

  • @AS6VIDEO Oh, for my dreams to be that easy & simple....some of mine are just too odd to put into words!! If I did I'd probably be sectioned for my own good ;)

  • @EvilBproductions .....and you gleaned all that from me glossing some footwear!! Wow, Dream Doctor, I can only dream that, that may actually happen....hang on, I just did in an indirect way.....you clever old sod ;)

  • I never really dream mad things my dreams are usually a follow on from what happened in the day or if I have something on my mind i dream about that

  • Hehehe :) Your dream means you're going to win millions and take me on an all expenses paid world tour.
