@ChristyGuitar is it possible that your gpu is maxxing out due to background processes or something. i know that can be killer on fps. also would depend on your resolution u play at 2 ide say lol also may want to see how old your gpu (graphics card is) could be a older 5650 for example the 512mb version. also could have a effect on that

@patrickodavid while i prefer ati in most all cases for gaming. i would have to say go with the asus computer. the gpu is ever so slightly better based on my experience and also u have the 460m which has slightly better performance as well. so ya thats my oppinion on that XP

I have the same graphics card on my VAIO, but the whole laptop crashes after a while if I overclock the GPU at more than 550MHz. The default clock is 450MHz., and I'm using Catalyst 10.6. I'm suspecting that I need to change its voltages to reach 650MHz, what voltages do you have?
