I think 900 hp is a bit exagerated, but i wouldn't doubt if it said 700 hp since the 1986 WRC version had around 600 hp. anyways this car is fucking impressive even with 350 hp because it only weighs 890 kg, which is less than a lotus exige btw!

@druqzbunny Ok, that sounds reasonable, but than again, you should take the gearbox into account, maybe its gears are long, and that's why the revs are not going up so fast....

Same goes for those 500hp heavy cars, if they have short gearing, they will accelerate faster, not saying that you're wrong, what you've said makes perfect sense, but than again I can't say that you're right either. Not until I see a video of this car on a dyno at least :)

Its just shared the name for marketing purpose but was built directly for rallying (mid engine, carbon fibre composite bodywork, long travel double wishbone suspensions, twin charging ...etc). However this delta is an integrale which made from the road version. Officially it had 212 hp and can be tuned up to 300-500 maybe even higher.

This one looks like have an awsome acc but it sounds way less than 900hp.

@greygtv6 They did, back in 1979, it was called the 928, and it trounced all other Porsches of its time, unfortunately Porsche loyal consumers, all loved the (inherently flawed) rear engined layout....so the 928 got canceled. But in case you haven't noticed, all the best Porsches were mid engined or front engined.

Porsche doesn't stick with a rear engined layout because they can't update the design, they stick with it because their idiot fan base is loyal to the rear engine layout.

I like the look of the 996(?) GT3...other than that though, I agree, all the rear engined Porsches are fugly.

The 924 was a good idea, they just didn't make it perform well enough, great auto-x car though.
