The Lisbon treaty is in violation of the United Nations International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights :
Article 1 : All peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic and cultural development.
The European Arrest Warrant also violates the same Covernant ( Article 9).
Restore justice & democracy before both are gone for ever !
LOL, he does actually look like Lenin! I'm sure this creepy fuck of a EUSSR-politician would be head of the Soviet People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs, or Cheka, NKVD, GPU, GRU, KGB, etc., had he lived during those days. Or why not our very own Europol?
The Lisbon Treaty ( Article 33,paragraph 6 ) allows the un-elected EU executive the right to change or declare null & void ALL rules/regulations/laws present in existing treaties relating to the ECONOMY ;TAX ;CIVIL SOCIETY ;environment etc.
« Sorry,this is a dictatorial constitution » (Prof. Schachttschneider, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg).
« The EU can lawfully suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading public figures « (European Court of Justice ruling 2001).
The European Charter of Fundamental Rights (art.2,passage 2) states that LETHAL force (i.e.live ammo) can be used during « rioting, civil upheaval & during war ».
The same Charter of RIGHTS does not mention ANYWHERE the RIGHT of EU citizens to vote.
Perhaps they forgot.
Remind them in the European elections in June 2009.
TWO EXAMPLES of what to expect from our 25 un-elected Masters at the Council of Europe :
1. European Charter of Fundemental Rights (Article 111-434) Life-long Immunity from criminal prosecution is guaranteed for "EU officials and servants".
2."Next year (2009) could see Turkey make a crucial step forwards on it's path to EU membership..." (Enlargement commissioner Ollie Rehn),EVEN THOUGH a MAJORITY of both TURKS
as soon as RFID chips and Data Tags are implemented, we will all be taken up the ass. All your data will be stored on the chips and if you dont listen to what you are beeing told, they turn of the chip you have either in your pocket or IN YOUR BODY, wich makes you fall directly out of the system. This means ur not a person anymore, but a slave, pure form of modern slavery. Everyone says history repeats itself!! ALL WATCH SHADOWS IN MOTION or ZEITGEIST!! OPEN YOUR EYES!!
The treaty was deliberately made hard to understand so the corrupt, appointed bureaucrats, domininated by the french and germans, would have, at their finger tips a European empire.(remind u of somthing from previous centries).
The truth is that even now Robert Mugabe has a greater democratic legitimacy than the EU. Mugabe has been elected often in the past though now his mandate has run out - The EU Commission has NEVER been elected & the peoples of France, Holland & Ireland have VOTED NO to the new constitution/Lisbon Treaty threatening the snouts of the politicians and parasites with losing their troughs on the gravy train. The corrupt central State is determined, like Mugabe, to force new votes for personal gain!
An interesting thought from Maggot Wallstrom (EU Minister of Propaganda) Kemppinem head of the EU London enforcement offices 'WE did not lose one single referendum.' (This may suggest that the EC considers itself blameless re: Ireland) The other, a peach, reads: 'Yes is yes but no is unfortunate.' It was of course the ghastly Abba clone with her metronomic drone & ill kept roots who is supposedly responsible for communications! Well she failed to communicate in Ireland. Not even understanding NO
Typical socialists: patronisingly trying to tell me what's 'good for me' (which incidentally is always what's good for lining their own pockets too). My response is simple: I WILL DECIDE FOR MYSELF WHAT'S GOOD FOR ME and not supporters of 'socialism', an ideology that died 20 years ago.
"The name 'constitution' has been ditched, most of its least popular elements are still present: it will militarise the EU, enshrine neo-liberal free trade principles and transfer powers away from national parliaments to EU institutions. In some cases words have been changed to try and distract from the retention of the very aspects which led the French and Dutch voters to reject the Constitution -- but nevertheless the substance remains very much the same as ever" Caroline Lucas MEP Greens/EFA
can you imagine what this corrupted EU oligarchy can decide in the field of OGM and agriculture, given that it is under the influence of world's biggest multinationals like the most criminal Monsanto??
watch teh video: "the world according to Monsanto".
you will understand why we Europeans have absolutely to stop this kind of EU.
our lives are at stake. it is not just about freedom.
Everyone please understand that these guys are SOCIAL DEMOCRATS and not Socialists. Because no true Socialist like for example Sinn Fein would support the Imperialist policies of the EU.
Yeah socialists love the Lisbon treaty because they can't stand people being free and happy. They feel they have to control everything and everyone. They want total control it won't be long before they will be building the gulags in Europe for all of us dissenters. The EU is just communism by stealth and in every communist country in the past thousands (millions if you count Russia and China) of people have been murdered by thier own government.
No. We won't be bullied.. Tell us exactly what were getting ourselves into,, Not mere rhetoric and slogan throwing. If the administrators try to push this through again without clarifying and satisfying the European people, I'll be out canvassing yet again. No, you will not bully us.. you won't..
Than YOU very much for delivering a NO VOTE to subsuming Ireland yet further in The Evil Union with its disregard for freedom and the peoples of EUrope. History will show how courageouse it was of the people of Ireland to display with such certainty their self confidence that they can stand on their own feet without the nanny state of the EU with its bullying, threatening and dishonesty. It has been a great eye opener to many just how vicious & corrupt those who wanted the EU were prepared to be
I believe that many other European peoples would have voted against if they only had had the chance to express their opinion. that's why they did not allow us to vote.
this is a tyranny, a pure, veritable tyranny of financial oligarchies in the disguise of democracy.
in response to "Why the Lisbon Treaty is good for you and good for Europe":
No NO NO !
The Lisbon Treaty is BAD for Ireland - and every other country in the world.
Do not vote in favour of this treaty-it will be bad for everyone except tiny few eu elite. Send a clear message that democracy & freedom must prevail.
the EU is corrupt & antidemocratic at every level, ireland has chance to speak luckily but 490 million other europeans dont. Speak on our behalf & get this madness stopped
name ONE thing the treaty does for us. we give up power for what? i wouldnt sign a contract i dont understand so im not voting yes to this. we're doing fine without this treaty and its all very fishy to me...for the first time i think the EU is being totally dishonest with us. it seems to benefit the richest people and the biggest parties only...not convinced, and so far i havent been given a single good reason to vote yes. VOTE NO!
You have to remember that these people are all Left-Wing Marxists - Search "Marxism" and "Zionism" to see what they are about.. The issues they discuss could be tackled at a national level - there can still be 'Euro' peace treaties but where each country can deal with its own affairs. VOTE NO!!
VOTE NO TO PROTECT YOUR DEMOCRACY. Our Irish Commissioner did not read the Lisbon Treaty as he cannot be blamed for the undemocratic contents of the Treaty.
Ireland`s right to further Referendums will be removed with the Lisbon Treaty. Any questions put to any Irish political parties are ignored and silly one liners are given. Stupid "Good for Ireland Good for Europe" NO it is not for the ordinary citizen of Europe.
Dear Irish people. Please do NOT vote yes for Lisbon Traty. Vote NO, NO, NO... Do not let EU to became a Super State. Do not let others to run your life! I am form Slovenia and we had no chanse to express our will on the referendum. Do not be fools! What is wrong with present EU, why should we change that?
CairoGang, im definatley convinced by your arguement. racist and ignorant, you sad sad petty person. i doubt someone as uneducated as you has even read the lisbon treaty. clearly you have no idea what your saying. YES will benefit us in so many ways, your only saying no because you dont know what its about and therefore are saying no because of this. sit down read the neutral sites, get informed and make an educated vote, not and ignorant 1!
Bill of fundamental rights - means that EU tells Ireland how many immigrants both legal & illegal Ireland must take in. That these people can be hired for a minimum wage which means Ireland must compete for these wages or lose their jobs.
Ireland do the Europeans a favor & vote No
"Not a superstate that is dilluting the national identity." - Barroso -President of the European Commission
Well we have all seen what the Socialists have done to Europe. The undermining of Democracy and the freedom of speech, The erosion of Western civilization and culture by allowing Islam to spread throughout Europe demanding that we include Muslim Sharia Law into National Law. The biggest treat to European Democracy and Culture is the E.U. itself.
You are wrong! The Lisbon Treaty is NOT a constitution nor is it constitutional or it would have been called a constitution. IT IS A TREATY. .....Full Stop
The reason it is called a Treaty is because if it were to be called a draft constitution the Governments would have to allow the peasantry a referedum to change their own constitution, and there is NO way the embryo of a European dictatorship is ever going to allow the peasants a referendum. Amen

7. They may not know our rich language...they may no know our culture...they may not know how proud i feel to be a Greek, but at least they know that Europe is for Europeans! and not for Americans or for anyone else! We all born and grow up in the same Epirus.

As a European taxpayer who helps to finance the over-paid,corrupt and un-elected commission....I would like to ask two simple questions.
1. Why is a man who tortures & incarcerates his political opponents INVITED to take part in EU `talks ´?
I refer to Belarus´ president Alexander Lukashenko.
2.Why is the commission so keen to see Croatia join the EU ?
To quote Croatian journalist Goran Flauder : ´ We like to say where Italy is a state with a Mafia,Croatia is a Mafia with a state ´.

It's good because you will no longer need to wipe your ass, we will do that for you. If you are hungry we will provided you with safe irradiated food, and don't worry about unruly children, the state will provide care for them. Lets see... and you no longer be required to think, we will do that for you as well. There you see life will be much easier...it's not so bad. :O/

European democrats beware !

Vote for this ?

2."Next year (2009) could see Turkey make a crucial step forwards on it's path to EU membership..." (Enlargement commissioner Ollie Rehn),EVEN THOUGH a MAJORITY of both TURKS
and Europeans are against Turkey joining the EU !

To take the figures & provide the FACTS
The EU Constitution/Lisbon Treaty must by its own LAWS be RATified by all 27 member regions.
So far 19 Nations have surrendered to the RATification
that's 19 countries or 5000 politicians!
France with a population of 64,473,140
Netherlands with a population of 16,428,071
& Ireland with a population of 4,339,000
EACH by a majority voted NO
In Democratic terms 85M to 5,000 AGAINST
The EU has no mandate - is it then a dictatorship?

Talk to Irish people, e-mail, forums or if you have the means come to Ireland and persuade voters. It's that important.
There are anti-Lisbon groups in every EU contry. Ask them to go to Ireland. You CAN affect change. Do Something!

Well we have all seen what the Socialists have done to Europe. The undermining of Democracy and the freedom of speech, The erosion of Western civilization and culture by allowing Islam to spread throughout Europe demanding that we include Muslim Sharia Law into National Law. The biggest treat to European Democracy and Culture is the E.U. itself.

The "Lisbon Treaty" is the Constitution!
brainquestenterprise 3 years ago
You are wrong! The Lisbon Treaty is NOT a constitution nor is it constitutional or it would have been called a constitution. IT IS A TREATY. .....Full Stop
The reason it is called a Treaty is because if it were to be called a draft constitution the Governments would have to allow the peasantry a referedum to change their own constitution, and there is NO way the embryo of a European dictatorship is ever going to allow the peasants a referendum. Amen
