So our telling me were propel can't grow crops and hunt for a living to even have food for there families is wrong. @L337karma 1. You responded to what apro2makeup said without listening to what he really said. Hunting for food is natural. Industrial breeding of animals with no greater life purpose then becoming meat, is.

2. If we didn't eat so much meat, we wouldn't have to grow crops / make pastures to feed the meat aspirants. One unit of animal protein approxamately requires ten units of vegetable protein. The available fields for growing human food would greatly increase.

@MissMisification I would argue that it's not that we eat so much meat, it's that we're pretty cheap about producing it (as in we use cheap tricks). If it's just the matter of making pastures to feed the animals, well, that's pretty expensive, people would raise less livestock to save money. But through these tricks we're creating pastures filled with crops that make animals sick (they miscarry and are otherwise unhealthy) but allow us to raise many of them at once. Then we eat them too. :\

@madturtlefan they do not need a small tank, and do best in a 5 gallon tank. However, it is of the greatest importance to have a filter/airstone and clean the tank bi weekly and to have the temperature be at 80-83 degrees always. The water is blue because of a chemical put in the water that helps the fish (it either helps the fish replace it's slime coat and relax or prevent it from getting a disease/fungus/poisoned from amonia, as a small tank can build up nitrates quickly and kill the fish)

Don't put it in with tetras.  Tetras are known fin nippers and will eat your betta's fins! If you're gonna get a betta, keep him in a separate tank from your tetras. By putting a betta in with tetras, you're only asking for a headache.
