Yay, you finally bought a Alex... Alex is my first MG kit too... XD... Small question, inside the box there comes with a decal sheet. Not the dry one, but the other one that has a piece of paper under it. Please tell me how to apply that one XD... I am even wondering if that's a decal sheet or not... It's just a flat piece of plastic paper on mine...

The astray red frame is verry fun to build.

You can also go wild on painting the sword.

Nice haul. Some oldies, but goodies! I'm pretty interested to see a review of the MG Qubeley. No one else has done one yet, and I know that you'd do a great review of it. So, I'll especially be looking forward to that. You know, that same exact thing happened to me with MY MG Gouf (not the Custom, though). Now it's even less posable than before, which is to say, almost none. I really think it's about time for a ver 2.0 for the Gouf! Let's hope we get to see one yet this year.

My thoughts exactly! And now they're doing a MG Sword Impulse and MG Astray Green Frame. I know with the Sword Impulse, they just want to recycle the parts from the Force Impulse (lazy), but what's with all this Green Frame crap? Has Bandai just been pulling a bunch of different colored Astray Frames out of its ass for no apparent reason, or what's the deal? Why is Bandai making all these quality MG & PG models of such unimportant and unnecessary mobile suits? It's rubbish, I say! Rubbish!

I, myself, am not absolutely POSITIVE that it is a MG, but the online store where I saw it available for preorder said it was a MG model. The store has made mistakes with the names of models before, so it's possible that it really is just a NG 1/100. The price was only around $22 USD, which seems more like the price of a typical NG 1/100. Chances are, though, that it really is MG, and therefore a wasted chance that could have gone to a more deserving mobile suit, like a 2.0 GP01 or Alex.

The fanbase of the astrays are HUGE!!! plus, they just wanna recycle the frame of pg strike.

The Astray models do have that "cool factor", but I don't think that's reason enough for me to want one. I've never read the manga, and a cool model doesn't mean much to me without a story behind it. And, I kinda don't like that they make all these extra mangas, and try to make them fit into the original Seed story, just as a cheap and flimsy attempt to boost sales. Unless, the Astray mangas actually have good stories, I don't feel that much anything related to "Astray" is really worth my time.
