  • The film itself is ambigiuous, gritty and action-packed.

The plot is really complex and the cinematogrophy works really well with dramatic tone of the movie.

Rorschach is my favourite character because he believes in peace and justice for the world.

Even when he dies, he doens't give up on believing the world will become peaceful.

This is, honestly, the best film of 2009 I have seen.

    Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @MUSICFIGUY

    Ever heard of Ctrl+F? xD

  • reminds me of my old house in the middle of no where

  • took a smahing pumking song an made it 10 times better

  • @harveydentaka This version is also made by the pumpkins

  • @knastrarn true but this is better

  • Ok, this song was featured on the Batman and Robin soundtrack. They both were. I remember I bought it when I was a young that and just getting into the Pumpkins and I saw they had not 1, but 2 songs on the Batman and Robin soundtrack, and I'd seen the movie so I figured I just had to buy it. There was "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning," AND "The End Is The Beginning Is The End." This is just recycled OST material from one film based on a DC comic to another. Still amazing song!

  • awkward... i was clearly looking for the end is the beginning is the end... my bad

  • is the original version on youtube?

  • this song stuck in my head at least it's good.

  • It's been.. t... two weeks now... and I'm still trying to find a comment by Hiveslayer189899...

    ...food is running low.

  • @MUSICFIGUY lmao, nice

  • @MUSICFIGUY

  • My god this song is the best I love Billy Corgan!!

  • Gangsta song!

  • this song is amazing... chorus blows me away.

  • @Hiveslayer18989 Dubstep is proof that A.D.D. has gone airborne

  • fantastic film and great music to go with it...

the whole soundtrack to the film was brilliant..

    R.I.P. Rorschach

  • What's a dubestepe? Never heard of it..

  • @razersharpvenom if ur not trollin, a dubstep is when someone makes a song sound more electronic while adding deathtones into the mix. i think it sounds terrible but, it's all preference.

  • @RuskiManBearPig deathtones? no. dubstep using synth sounds and varies them, usually in a "wobble" sound, or it fluxes the synth sounds. it can be anything from super chill mellow beats to dirty filthy slutty sounds

  • Some People Will Say That Watchmen Is A Bad Movie.Well Its Not bad.Not At All.

Watchmen Has Some Amazing Visuals and Isnt supposed to be Oscar Worthy. Its Supposed To be one of those movies that will be stuck with you for awhile.and thats a good thing

  • @maniac4toys I do wish it could be a good film instead of a movie, whereas the comic is considered as "literature".

  • COUNTER-STRIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • crap, i can see how it was made for batman but it actually fits better for the watchmen.

  • @movieaddict119 Are you kidding me, Watchmen was a great movie. It followed the graphic novel pretty close and had great actors. The story was even great. But, I can admit their were some parts I really didn't like.

  • I DONT UNDERSTAND THE 235 PPL DIDNT LIKE THIS

  • Watchmen was Great had an interesting plot twist and great character Rorschach was The Best and Ozymandias was Pretty cool!:)

  • Watchman was awful, the only good things about it was Jackie Earle Haley and nude Malin Akerman, sadly that wasnt enough to make it bearable for 3 hours tho

  • Lots of YouTube toughguy happening in these videos

  • i saw the blue man's penis....and i lol'd

  • @gokemon2 and I jizzed in my pants

  • i actually think this song would be perfect for a silver surfer movie.

  • watchme :))

  • loved this movie and version of this song! I almost cried when Rorschach was killed in the end. He was like the best one

  • @SladesGirl Yeah Rorschach SHOULD NOT have died in the movie. He was my favorite as well and such a badass.

  • @suckerp991 Well, he kinda' needed to die. Not just because that's how it goes in the book, but because unlike Ozymandias, his perception of good and evil is so black and white that he's incapable of accepting something he considers wrong, even if it means jeopardizing world peace supported by a lie that killed billions of people. He would have the lose of all those people worthless had he spread word of what really happened. Not to mention his awful past. Ultimately, he wanted to die. :(

  • @ArmyOfWalrus I see what you mean, he in a way told Dr. Manhattan to kill him if he didn't want the word getting out right? I think I need to read the book to get a better understanding.

  • @suckerp991 Pretty much. With the combination of his terrible past, which would traumatize anyone, and his unwavering definition of morality, he knew it was his time. Rorschach understood that he couldn't keep his mouth shut because of his strict moral code, even if revealing the truth would end world peace. One of the many messages in the movie is how much is peace actually worth and does the end justify the means. In this case, the villain is kind of the hero.

  • @ArmyOfWalrus I thought that was one of the best messages watchmen sent. I gotta say though Rorschach was too badass to die.

  • @suckerp991 he was like a dark batman, which in itself really says something lol

  • The World Will Look Up And Shout "Save Us" And I'll Whisper, "No."

    Freaakiin Badass! ;D

  • @Danimtzxxxxxxx THat's not how the quote goes >_>

  • Try sitting in a pitch black room blasting this shit, its insane

  • @6IXBrandon6IX WIth pot... don't forget that.

  • @ricochet188 I think that can be said for almost anything done alone at home... haha

  • Please do not RUIN this song doing a dubtep version!

  • This song is fun to listen to while reading the final chapter of Koisuru Boukun. ;)

  • this song sounds so EVIL and yet very very sad. This is truly the watchmen theme.

  • @Slockry it does, yet its good music lol

  • rorscharch RULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • I ♥ Mashing Punkins!!

  • I feel sorry for Hiveslayer. His inbox must be full of shit, judging by all these replies he's gotten.

  • @mdcowboy15

    Ditto, it would be brutal.

  • @mdcowboy15 I love this song, just surprised someone hasn't done it. But, I have Reason5, so I can change that myself, when I get the time.

  • I guess they had to put this song on a more promising movie. Batman and Robin really wasn't well received. Lucky for WB they owned the right to put this song on the Watchmen movie. Muc betta movie

  • whit this: /watch?v=AYw7eJYadco

  • Fucking awesome movie!!!!

  • 2:59 :D :D :D

  • The world needs to end to this song.

  • an amazing chilling song HAHAHAHA!!! >:-)

  • tthis song always gives me chills. this song is to be played on december 21st 2012.

  • @babypink912 While Nothing Happens? Genius.

  • @TheGameIzHere619 if something happens. this song just reminds me of the "end of the world" type song that would be played.

  • This is such a beautiful song. It sends chills up my spine.

  • Damn good movie. I wanna see a rated R x-men or superman lol!

  • ...well obviously the song is worth talking about. Hard to believe something so simple could be so controversial

  • epic song this is to be used in a drama film now!

  • Whenever I take a dump...this is it

  • @MrBossNigga

you won't believe how hard i laughed just now.

  • @MrBossNigga yuy

  • EPIC!

  • epic

  • No dubstep version anywhere? I'm actually kind of surprised.

  • @Hiveslayer18989 thank god for that

  • @Hiveslayer18989 It's better that way.

  • @Hiveslayer18989

    Thank God.

  • @Hiveslayer18989 I'm actually very pleased.

  • @Hiveslayer18989 Why is EVERYONE saying that a dubstep version is bad? I'm not dissing you all, but I like how dubstep can actually change a song into something good, but in a different form of good.

  • @Hiveslayer18989 Working on it!

  • @mickeeblackable Godspeed!

  • @Hiveslayer18989 what, there isn't one? nooooooooooo... damn

  • @Hiveslayer18989 dude that's exactly what I was just thinking.

  • @TheSammisan Well, now that I've sort of got the hang of Reason5, it might become available in the near future.....

  • @Hiveslayer18989 I'm inordinately pleased

  • @Hiveslayer18989 thank god, dubstep slaughters good songs.

  • @yfz450mikey not always man, not always! :)

  • @Hiveslayer18989 I know. This is my time to shine

  • more songs like this please suggest!!

  • fucking love this song.

    And this comic/movie.

  • This is not the same version that was on Batman & Robin. This is like the bummer remix.

  • @deebsboy It's the same, there are two song: The End is the Beginning is the End, is the rock styled version, that was used mainly in the movie. But in the disc also was The Beginning is the End is the Beginning, this more slow version.

  • @deebsboy The one in B&R was The End... This is The Beginning...

  • @deebsboy What Lamardredetuamigo said. I actually used to have the soundtrack, which was one of the few good things about the movie. (being smart enough to use Mr. Freeze's BTAS back story being the other.) I always preferred this version to the End is the Beginning is the End.

  • sexily calming

  • This song is fucking epic. :D

  • @APCFan227 Agreed.

  • Phoenix Jones is freed! The people will look up and shout, "Save us!". And he'll just look down and spray pepper face in our face.

  • @1Cortexiphan pepper face.

  • @1Cortexiphan HA!

  • @1Cortexiphan lol, you'll never believe me but the phoenix jones you speak of actually works for my dad. His real name is Ben Fodor.

  • I want to watch the trailer now!!

  • I love this song it is beautiful and simplistic with a powerful message. Those who argue the semantics of the song instead of listening to it's soothing words and rythem are lost. go elsewhere kiddies and leave us to our music.

  • And now im happy

  • the graphic novel will all twelve comics is way times better then the movie!

  • @KenshenSim

The shortage of people here saying that is depressing. Thank you for reaffirming my faith in humanity a little.

  • @tlynch441 I don't need fucking research when I have a physical copy of EVERY cd sitting right in my fucking room. Fuckstain.

  • this song is the song that other songs wish they were... if songs could do that

  • This song was better than the movie.

  • @ThaRealJman agreed, this song is really great. although the watchmen book was so much better than the movie

  • Great to know the majority of so-called Smashing Pumpkins fans these days are Poseurs and wannabes. Idiots don't even know this is a shit remix of an amazing song (that unlike this piece of shit, is actually the Smashing Pumpkins' style)

  • @TheRealScarr Holy shit calm down Mr. Hipster lololol.

  • @TheRealScarr And i forgot to say that this song its in the same album that the end is the beginning is the end fucking retard

  • @derkdra hate to break it to you (as i share the sentiment), but this wasn't on any pumpkins albums. it, along with The End is the Beginning is the End was on the Batman & Robin soundtrack.

  • Comment removed

  • @drakocarrion Well they sell it as a single not only on the batman and robin ost so its kinda correct to say that its from an album but more correct would be if i had said its in the same cd or single but you get what i meant and i have to say that i was kinda mad because this guy was insulting but didn't know a thing about the song

  • @derkdra movie soundtracks are generally considered as compilations as they're a mixture of tracks from various artists. I guess you could consider the cd a very short EP if you were so inclined. & as I said, I share the sentiment. this guy knows nothing.

  • How i hate the pouser that think the other ones are pousers sad sad sad that they talk and that they dont even know about the band

  • @TheRealScarr Before talking you should well you know know more about the band and the story of this song and from his pair you know the one that was on batman this the result of a brilliant mind (billy corgan's) not a remix

  • @derkdra um, there are 4, not 2.The Ethers Tragic & The Guns of Love Disasterous were the other two instrumental versions on the CD single of The End is the Beginning is the End.

  • @drakocarrion I didnt want to be that specific but yeah you're right

  • @drakocarrion Looking at the UK single my dad lent me, The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning isn't on here, Just The End Is The Beginning Is The End, The Ethers Tragic, The Guns Of Love Disasterous, Stuck in the Middle with Fluke Vox and Alternate mixes, Rabbit in the Moon's Melancholy & the Infinite Madness Mix, Hallucination's Gotham Ghetto Beats, Rabbit in the Moon's Infinite Radio Edit. In that exact order. It's great to be a REAL fan of the music and have actual copies of their cds.

  • @TheRealScarr well it's on mine & i know this because i got it out to check the instrumentals names. so either you're full of shit (& still a gimp for using the term "real fan") or we live in a world where bands released multiple cd singles with different mixes on them. I'll let you work it out fucktard.

  • @derkdra This IS a fucking remix of a 12 year old song!! How fucking stupid can you people be and still have the nerve to call yourselves Smashing Pumpkins fans and not know shit about them and then claim someone who's been listening to them since '89 doesn't? This was never on a Smashing Pumpkins album, only the Batman & Robin soundtrack and then it was remixed for The Watchmen!!

  • @TheRealScarr No my friend in the single The end is the beginning is the end that was release on 1997 there were 4 songs:

The end is the beginning is the end

The beginning is the end is the beginning

    The ethers tragic

    The guns of love disastrous

Also in the Batman and robin ost the 15th song of the album is this song it isn't a remix if you dont believe me you can read from wikipedia that its true

  • @TheRealScarr actually its just an alt lyrics (as billy is so fond of doing) that was written & produced by mr. Corgan himself. were you a "real fan" as you put it you'd know that.

  • @drakocarrion This isn't just alternate lyrics. The End Is The Beginning Is The End is a fucking HEAVY song!! This pile of shit isn't heavy at all. This is more along the lines of the sound from Today or 1979 instead of Zero or even Ava Adore. And once again, listening since '89, probably since before most of you douchebags were even born!

  • @TheRealScarr "listening since 89" so what? you're still wrong. this is an alt lyrics not a remix. it was released on the SAME CD!

btw using Ava Adore as an example of how heavy SP can be is ridiculous. that song isn't heavy at all!

  • Watch men 2 is being develop guys!!!!

  • Smashing Pumpkins FTW!!!!

  • I feel like walking down an ally looking for some scum harming someone, so that I can break his arm like Rorschach. And later say, "the world would look up to me and say save us, and I'll wisper, NO>"

  • this song makes walking up the stairs epic

  • @FearlessHQ amen

  • @FearlessHQ lol

  • I feel evil every minute I here this song

  • @HDskateboarding Hugs? Even piles of sticks need hugs too.

  • was this blue dude naked with his Pena dangaling everywhere in this movie?????

  • @PrincesStackTheDough Yes. Yes he was.

  • I hate how both versions of this song are associated with awful movies...

  • Comment removed

  • @bootler1233 Who the hell is Jerimiah ?

  • I love this song

  • People actually like this better than the original? FUCKING POSEURS!!!!!

  • @TheRealScarr I thought this was the original.

  • @TheRealScarr Dude, it's not like this is a cover. *Posers.

By the way the 90's version sucks.

  • @xxInvisibleMoon Once again, fucking Poseurs. (And yes, contrary to what STUPID people think, it is spelled P-O-S-E-U-R.) No real Smashing Pumpkins fan would prefer this wannabe dubstep remix over the original.

  • @TheRealScarr Wha .. Wha... did you just call this dubstep? I have no hope for humanity.

Did I ever say I like the Smashing Pumpkins? I just like this other take on the song.

Damn bro you need some english lessons. Are you a hipster?

  • @xxInvisibleMoon Look it up stupid. P-O-S-E-U-R. And this IS a wannabe dubstep remix. It sounds like Infected Mushroom took it on and failed miserably.

  • @TheRealScarr Hipster....

  • And I have no hope for humanity because the majority of you are fucking morons.

  • @TheRealScarr Hope is for the morons to put definition into their bleak and meaningless lives anyway my friend.

  • @TheRealScarr The single contained three other versions of the song, titled as different tracks. "The Guns of Love Disastrous" is an instrumental version based around the tracks' various electronica-inspired elements, while the other instrumental, "The Ethers Tragic", is comprised solely of its guitar parts. "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning" is a slower, less rock-oriented version with different lyrics. This version appears on the Batman & Robin soundtrack as well.

  • @TheRealScarr "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" was used in a trailer for the 2009 film adaptation of Watchmen (which, coincidentally, made its first appearance attached to the 2008 Batman film The Dark Knight). Its appearance in that trailer helped the song break into the iTunes Top 100 during the summer of 2008, and the Smashing Pumpkins added this version to their tour roster in August. The band played "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" through the rest of their 2008 tour

  • @TheRealScarr Also this song you can find it rarities and B-sides album and you can see that on itunes aaaaaaaaaaand now SUCK ON THAT

  • @TheRealScarr Hope you read all my comments and you watch the song on itunes and stuff maybe you are a fan but you made a mistake and thats ok

  • I saw Dr. Manhattan walking down the street the other day. I asked him where he had been lately, and he said, "Everywhere, at every time."

  • i wanna go stroll in the rain for crime... i just have to make sure not to catch a cold eat some warm soup and lots of vitamin c and then bad guys beware.

  • This song makes me feel so decadent.

  • @Doodlescomics I wouldn't say it was BAD, but it really wasn't that great, either.

  • A man with an ink mask, a rapist, a girl in leather, an owl, an extremely intelligent guy named after a greek god, and a naked blue man walk into a bar...

  • @MamaLuigi005 I'm pretty sure Adrian named himself after the poem that was inspired by a statue of Ramesses the second.....but I've never read the comic, so I'm not sure.

  • @MamaLuigi005 and then .... lol

  • @MamaLuigi005 lol

  • @MamaLuigi005 God help us all.
