Only time I ever recall Wyman doing a lead vocal was the song IN ANOTHER LAND on the Rolling Stones' SATANIC MAJESTY'S REQUEST album. This tune rocks tho!
@JohnCClinton Really don't know. What I do know is that the Guitarist playing from 3:55 to 4:24 is Albert Lee. The guitarist you are referring too must be a Dutch guy, some of which are brilliant but don't seem to get any recognition at all.

Great Band! Good old Bill keep rolling...better. And Pete sounds warmer than Albert...I'll gonna sell my guitar and buy a bike. Maybe I can perform better on that thing...lol.
I don't know who Terry Taylor is; but I know that the shaggy-haired guitarist in the black vest is Albert Lee. I don't think Frampton is in this group.
This is the best thing I've heard from a British band all year. But then it's quite a line up, isn't it? Did they make a record - could listen to this stuff all day.
Wow, its so great to hear scored, choreographed music preformed by talented musicians, its been a dry spell, sounds great. Thanks folks, maybe youll start a trend..
Bill and Terry set the groove throughout so Peter and Albert can do their things. Albert's playing is so crisp. Georgie's singing is so smooth as is the quality and blending of the whole piece. These are pros who've paid their dues and are one-with-their-instruments. Blondie is Melanie Redmond. Who's the drummer?
You notice most of the comments include a reference to time? Seems another noteworthy observation might be the restraint that these guys employ. Thanks Rob
Bill is so absolutely smooth and always hits the best notes. What a fantastic collection of musicians, great tunes and one of the best kept secrets in music. I hope Bill lives to be 100 or more!
No, I know who Albert Lee is! :) Albert's playin a MusicMan somethin' or other. I'm talkin' about the young fella with the white shirt (no vest) and black Fender Strat to Albert's left.
Frampton was Wayman's choice of replacement for Taylor....but as we all know his vote did not count. I like Wyman's style since Monkey Grip days. He looks good here.
Bill Wyman looks comfortable now doing what he wants to do without any of the bull sh*t of the Rolling Stones...! Nice clean easy going music there without the lunacy...
Talk about your Supergroups! Here's one if there ever was one, and they're all aging like fine wine musically. Seeing the great Albert Lee reminded me of a marvelous summer night at a county fair in Vancouver, Washington in the early 80's when he was the ace guitarslinger for the Everly Brothers Reunion Tour. Can you believe the show was free with fair admission? Those were the days.
This is JJ Cales's "Anyway The Wind Blows". Great guitar solo from Frampton in the style of the man himself but Terry Taylor's solo on DVD is better in my humblr opinion played on a Strat through a Vox AC30, check it out. This is the stuff wot Knopfler cut his teeth on.Thanks for posting this.

Was "Anyway the Wind Blows" a song from the 1950s or 60s?
67nairb 1 year ago
@67nairb It's by JJ Cale (of "After Midnight" and "Cocaine" fame, and a big influence on Clapton at that time) - I'd guess it was written in the 80s
