  • Very cool.

  • BILL SMILLS !

  • Only time I ever recall Wyman doing a lead vocal was the song IN ANOTHER LAND on the Rolling Stones' SATANIC MAJESTY'S REQUEST album. This tune rocks tho!

  • checkout this band from New Zealand called The Blues Buffet.....music video clip 'Dirty Water'

  • Wow! No wonder Bill left the Stones.

  • Wow! Wish I was there!

  • beautiful, souful playing by all. great vid.

  • de la grande classe!

  • glad to see Bill enjoying his music here :) you got the impression he never really enjoyed playing with the stones much!!

  • A great J.J. Cale tune.

  • I hope i live long enuff to get that smooth !

  • The thin bushy haired guitarist looks like the lead singer of The Vibrators

  • The version that Cale does with Clapton is one of the best. This is nice, but nice.

  • That looks a lot like Albert Lee.

  • frampton!

  • Vanavond @ Stadskanaal

  • LONG LIVE JJ CALE !

  • Is it Andy Fairweather Low?

  • Who is the guy on guitar in 1:27 and 1:35?

  • @JohnCClinton peter Frampton

  • @JohnCClinton Really don't know. What I do know is that the Guitarist playing from 3:55 to 4:24 is Albert Lee. The guitarist you are referring too must be a Dutch guy, some of which are brilliant but don't seem to get any recognition at all.

  • @JohnCClinton Peter Frampton.

  • Wonderfull voice, great music, perfect interpreters... Thank you Bill!

Keep rocking; we love you :-))

  • Albert Lee? c,mon, how could you not list Albert Lee?

  • Great to know one of the Stones was still making truly pure great music.

  • Great to know one of the Stones is still making truly pure great music.

  • God they look pathetic. Even Georgie Fame.

  • @vollsticks What do you know? Notin', obviously. Learn history before making PATHETIC remarks about these GRAN OLD MEN OF ROCK & ROLL.

  • @vollsticks - young man got NOTHIN' !!! on old man

  • @vollsticks You mean cause they're still playing so well after all these years?

  • Great Band! Good old Bill keep rolling...better. And Pete sounds warmer than Albert...I'll gonna sell my guitar and buy a bike. Maybe I can perform better on that thing...lol.

  • Can someone name me all of the musicians in this recording?

  • great song!

does anybody have link where i can download the live concert version?

i cant find it anywhere. tnx

  • Great acting! 1000 Stars!

    Martin

  • This is music without the frills , real music, what a great band !

  • Geogie Fame has always been sooooooo coooooooooool!!!

  • Georgie's got such a smooth voice. And credit to Frampton, who always had a solid touch on guitar. Not to mention A. Lee who is an absolute virtuoso.

  • Was "Anyway the Wind Blows" a song from the 1950s or 60s?

  • @67nairb It's by JJ Cale (of "After Midnight" and "Cocaine" fame, and a big influence on Clapton at that time) - I'd guess it was written in the 80s

  • @twangbarfly Thanks for the info?

  • I don't know who Terry Taylor is; but I know that the shaggy-haired guitarist in the black vest is Albert Lee. I don't think Frampton is in this group.

  • @swiggy58a Frampton is the guitarist on the Les Paul.

  • Great Tune!

    Thanks!

  • This is the best thing I've heard from a British band all year. But then it's quite a line up, isn't it? Did they make a record - could listen to this stuff all day.

  • Albert Lee is also in here....longish grey hair .

  • On keyboard is Georgie Fame...Lancashire lad just down the road from here.

The geezer with longish grey hair is Albert Lee.

  • Trouble is that there is no youngsters...

Like these old foggies doing all this....

    The geriatric band ...

    The geriatric band ...

  • Wow, Alvin Lee and Peter Frampton fantasic. I think Alvin Lee is the most underrated guitarist ever.

  • @JONFATSARNOTT You mean Albert Lee. Big diff.-

  • @vampyros1 Thanks for setting me straight I was wondering what the hell happened to Alvin Lee!! I still think Alvin Lee is under rated though.

  • @JONFATSARNOTT No prob.; I agree, Alvin Lee is a wonderful guitarist.

  • THE best. Knows how to keep it clean and real.

  • These old dudes can rock harder than the kids nowadays do.

  • fabulous bunch of guys playing together~great song this one too~peace love and gratitude

  • Bloody Marvelous!!

  • und sie haben den Spa Blau getrunken! Ausgezeichnet!

  • good rocking very good musicians and G. Fame with his pleasant voice!

  • very good with the G. Fame's voice and musicians with big talent,

    bravo, good swing I'm a fan !!

  • Wow, its so great to hear scored, choreographed music preformed by talented musicians, its been a dry spell, sounds great. Thanks folks, maybe youll start a trend..

  • You are fantastic! A totally original sound done by top musicians!!

  • Bill and Terry set the groove throughout so Peter and Albert can do their things. Albert's playing is so crisp. Georgie's singing is so smooth as is the quality and blending of the whole piece. These are pros who've paid their dues and are one-with-their-instruments. Blondie is Melanie Redmond. Who's the drummer?

  • will this work?

  • FAN fucking TASTIC sound

  • Wow, what a find! Alvin Lee and Bill Wyman. What a band. Thanks for putting this vid. out here for us!!

  • Bill Wyman & Co.and Anyway The Wind Blows fantastic number and would difinitely get your feet

    tapping ...................cheers for posting

  • It's a super groovin piece of music.

    Ol men at his best.

    Don't stop your mission !

  • Georgie Fame!

    What a wonderful voice!

  • @flyseyeview

Georgie Fame's been a favourite of mine for 40yrs, he's amazing, remember him with Alan Price - The Price of Fame?

  • i used to be best friends with bill wyman's daughter matilda :) she would come to my house and we'ld play hide and seek

  • Good copy of JJ Cale. Sam Brown is Joe Brown's daughter.

  • Pure PROFESSIONALS.

  • Who is that HOT blond backup singer in the middle there. I googled it and all I found was 3 other girls, Does anyone know??/

  • Sam Brown. Yep she's nice

  • How do you know that's Sam Brown? She doesn't look anything like the one I know.

  • Great song and music. Here in Chicago we're doing the line dance Canadian Stomp to your song. Great beat.

  • Could there bea better rockabilly western swing band anywhere? I don't think so! Bill Wyman, my favorite Rolling Stone. Keep bangin'.

  • You notice most of the comments include a reference to time? Seems another noteworthy observation might be the restraint that these guys employ. Thanks Rob

  • Bill is so absolutely smooth and always hits the best notes. What a fantastic collection of musicians, great tunes and one of the best kept secrets in music. I hope Bill lives to be 100 or more!

  • Hope too,bassbob!!!

  • Turn the radio on these days, and it's proof that things don't get better! These guys had it right first time.

  • all old man's... but they are still fantastic!

  • Who's the guy with the black Strat?

I sorta remember Georgie Fame from the sixties when I was 7 or 8 years old, but I don't remember what songs he did.

  • Hi biggest hit was "I said yeah yeah"

  • That gentleman is one of the most famous and best guitar players to ever live. Albert Lee.

  • No, I know who Albert Lee is! :) Albert's playin a MusicMan somethin' or other. I'm talkin' about the young fella with the white shirt (no vest) and black Fender Strat to Albert's left.

  • I found out from another video! It's Terry Taylor (whoever that is). :)

  • Must be someone's son. Bunch of frikkin ol' geezers eh? ha ha and this was 11 years ago. Nice they can still play nice together.

  • Frampton was Wayman's choice of replacement for Taylor....but as we all know his vote did not count. I like Wyman's style since Monkey Grip days. He looks good here.

  • Bill Wyman looks comfortable now doing what he wants to do without any of the bull sh*t of the Rolling Stones...! Nice clean easy going music there without the lunacy...

  • What's the bass played by Bill ?

  • Albert Lee hätte natürlich auch noch erwähnt werden müssen!!!

  • Georgie sounds better than his 60's vocals. his voice is so mellow. Just love it.

  • Georgie's always been great singer. He sounds really good here

  • Rhythm and Blues

    I love this stuff.

  • Look how confident and relaxed Geogie Fame!!! He knows he's great

  • Is Peter Frampton really that good? I just remember him from his hits of the 1970's

  • for gods sake let Albert Lee loose, the guy is a genius..

  • yep, but Frampton sure did play well too.

  • Procol Herum...?

  • is that peter frampton on lead guitar?

  • yeh yeh

  • No, thats of course genius Albert!!!!!

  • Have just listened to Brother Phelps singing this, which is brilliant, and followed the link to this version. Wow, this is good. Thanks for posting.

  • An excellent rendition of a great JJ Cale song.

  • Great one. thanks for finding this :)

  • Tell me, where can I get that track, at least as mp3? Pleeeaaase!

  • this is listed in my fav,s ive also got it by the brothers phelps long live brill music

  • What is the name of this DVD? I wanna buy a copy of it!!

  • It is so nice to listen to proper musicians singing and playing for the sheer fun of it

  • Fame sounds as great as he did as a younster, yeh yeh!!

  • Smooth as silk... and just as classic !

  • I like these records I will look for them thanks for placing these videos

  • Talk about your Supergroups! Here's one if there ever was one, and they're all aging like fine wine musically. Seeing the great Albert Lee reminded me of a marvelous summer night at a county fair in Vancouver, Washington in the early 80's when he was the ace guitarslinger for the Everly Brothers Reunion Tour. Can you believe the show was free with fair admission? Those were the days.

  • Peter Frampton, saw him when I was 14 in Amsterdam, was sooooo in love with him! He is stil cute in this video!!! Thanx

  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

  • Best example of R&B i've seen in years.

I'm loving the vocal! Such a clear delivery.

Georgie Fame & The Rhythm Kings! What a band! ;)

    thanks for posting it.

  • This is the way to do it Jules.

  • who are those backing singers??

  • Proper stuff from real musicians!

  • This is JJ Cales's "Anyway The Wind Blows". Great guitar solo from Frampton in the style of the man himself but Terry Taylor's solo on DVD is better in my humblr opinion played on a Strat through a Vox AC30, check it out. This is the stuff wot Knopfler cut his teeth on.Thanks for posting this.

  • Thanks for the information. I'll change the title.

  • You're very welcome. keep posting good stuff like this.

  • Thanks for the posting. These guys are from my era. Well.....maybe a bit later I'm 65. Please can you tell me who the other keyboard players is. I Know Georgie but can't put my finger on the other guy. Senior moment maybe!

  • Yes they are great. They're from my era too. The other keyboard player is Gary Brooker from Procol Harum.

  • Thank You.

  • Huhh your say i'll change the title?

    Why i don't understand you.

I think this is a lovely rythm anyway the wind blows.

  • Man! Don't I wish the kids of TODAY would listen to this....THIS is what MUSIC is SHOULD sound like! Not that "rap" *%$#@ they listen to now...Im teaching my 10 yr old niece of what music is supposed to sound like. So far..she's learning!
