  • I've stopped listening to all the heavy music I used to listen to but you're the only person I actually still enjoy while watching the videos with the August Burns Red type music and all that. I respect you as a drummer and a good person. You're a phenomenal drummer and you have acquired such a great skill. I have been watching your videos from the start. From the first Saosin videos up until now and I enjoy every video you do. Way to go Chase. I'll be supporting you for much longer.

  • you should do more blink covers.... dude, your drumming doms

  • So basically, were going to have you on a disc? :D

  • Really sorry this didn't work out.

  • Only 5 days to go, I wish this was getting more backing! I was looking forward to this happening dude!

  • sounds sick

  • Maybe i missed it... but what about tempos?

  • i always have trouble finding good drum tracks

i would love you for ever and ever if you made that!

  • Sounds like an amazing idea bro the only problem I could see is that they are little segments and your a godly drummer with a godly kit and its going to be godly quality!!! So it may sound a little weird with other drum parts done by different drummers..But if it works out for ya in the future I would consider doing full songs so when kids do use it the drums will sound whole and complete :)

  • MMMMMMMMWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • MMMMMMMMWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Pretty cool shit man. Looking forward to it. I'll check out the kickstart thing later BUT its really late, too much youtube right now hahah. Take care man.

  • yes i did... I understand that this is a collection of samples that will likely make drum tracking very quick, but superior already has an infinitely larger pool of samples, and your aren't limited to the beats chase plays. I'm willing to bet his samples will all be in 4/4, which greatly limits how your songs can develop... and I'm sure you are better than I am at skating, seeing as I stopped a few years ago AFTER creating this account...

  • I'm actually done for this dude, I'll try to talk my wife into letting me contribute :). I suck at writing drum beats being a guitarist myself, this sounds like something I could definitely use. I know you said it would work with a lot of different software, but do you know if it will specifically work with Fruity Loops?

  • this is really great your doing something like this. amazing

  • yo man this is a really dope idea, i hope it all goes well for you

  • Hey bro....You got yourself a choclate milk Mustache...Juuuustttt letting you know :)

  • superior drummer already exists. THANKS THOUGH BRAH

  • @adioskaterdude999 not the market I'm going after! but thanks for the feedback.

  • @adioskaterdude999 ignorant much? did u even watch the whole video? im willing to bet you didnt, im also willing to bet im better than you at skateboarding and im a drummer, who lives in a small town where skateboarding is laughed upon.

  • @adioskaterdude999 hahahahahaha, just found this by chance

  • @TDWPrulzd00d siq. quit stalking me though bruh hahahaha

  • can u change the tempos or how will that work ?

  • so drummers now become even LESS important. -_-

  • @DaeDrums777 with that said, i'll take six copies.

  • What is your TRX Setup?

  • @chaserrr So , basically they are midi drums that wont have to be mapped out in the studio? To were basically if you didn't want to track "live drums" , you could just drag and drop these midi files into Logic , Pro Tools , or whatever and they would be able to fit? So the drummer doesnt really have to sit and beat map every single beat , you can just listen to the cd and whatnot and find the beat and drag it into the file and it would work?

  • Thanks man you inspired me a lot when i started to play drums...

  • Jesus hates me...

  • That's amazing, Chase!

  • Sick sleeve, bro.

  • you move your hands alot when explaing things. Lol ill donate since your the reason why I have my drumset up the way they are now. Lol and your my hero.

  • @vampirepiggy2 haha gotta be animated right! but thanks a ton!!

  • did you get your jesus tree tattoo covered up? O.O

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE nope! touched up, and redone a bit to look better :)

  • @chaserrr sweet ssweet. im a tattoo artist. =) you want some work you should come down to texas lol.

  • What happened to Two from evil!

  • dude i hate to break it to you, but most solo musicians program their drums.

There are tons of amazing drum sequencing softwares such as slate, BFD, superior drummer, and they even come with huge libraries of grooves and loops.

on the business side, you might want to venture elsewhere.

in fact, there are some metal bands who program drums for their actual albums, not just demos.

Veil of maya, periphery, have both used toontrack's superior drums exclusively on their latest releases.

  • @KAILequalsSEX i totally get that man! I'm marketing towards the musicians that either don't have the money for the other software...dont have the know-how (not to say that condescendingly, but some of that software is tricky), or maybe aren't to keen on writing drum parts.

  • Love this idea man! Hope it works out for you!

  • First off, did you get more added you your sleeve? Looks sweet!

Secondly, what happened to the Blink cover?! I have been stoked on that for weeks!

  • @overeasyeccentric recording this week actually! and yeah I've been adding a bit to it. haha thanks for noticing.

  • @chaserrr Schweet, man. I'll be keeping an eye out!

    And you know it.

  • Was hoping for a sample. Lol

  • @LyseCameron i'll post an update to this video in a few weeks, once i get a chance to record a bit...

  • @chaserrr No doubt, take your time bro.

  • Chase how much will it be when it comes out on the market?

  • @SuperSlowTyler still debating on that...probably somewhere around $59 give or take...

  • @chaserrr thats cheap compared to most drum software! will there be midi mapping to make are own beats from the sound of your kit?

  • @brendin53 i don't think i'll be including midi mapping...but I'm not 100% sure either way yet

  • @chaserrr i dont hink it would really take much more time or money to develop it cause all you need is a few different volume hit on each piece of the kit and with a feature like that you could market it for much more!

  • did you ever consider maybe sampling your kit so us programmers can have a well sampled kit to work off of? sick idea dude!

  • @bosox0912 i actually have considered it...cant rule it out, but can't say i'll do it for sure

  • are you not in a band anymore?

  • hey you're cute, are you single?!?

  • @jackiecas1 nope...taken by...um...YOU!

  • @chaserrr b'aaaaaaawwww :3

  • @chaserrr are u guys actually together or is it a youtube joke cuz i've been seeing a lot of cute comments between ur videos! Nothing wrong, just wondering if this is real.

Anyways, very kool idea. I wish I could use some of your beats but I won't be able to reproduce them live lol

  • @tikarina02 It's real. Check out their twitter and facebook profiles :P.

  • yea buddyyyy

  • 9th!! I'm so cool!!

  • NICE IDEA

  • lucky 7

  • 6th? :)

  • Sound great :)

  • well aren't you 3 awesome?

  • 3rd!

  • 2nd

  • first

  • @chaserrr yeah! I know being a programmer/engineer myself I'd be more interested in paying for a well sampled kit, definitely let us know if you go down that route!
