Thanks for posting this. i was trying to attach my wires to the traces and i couldnt get it working. but can i attach another keyboard in parallel to the wires of the one attached to the controller if i wanted to like type something or should i make some complicated switch to switch between the two?

if you don't understand this you should buy an i-pac for about $40, all you do is stick the wires into a slot on the i-pac and screw them into place, no soldering

i just tried doing it and used a keyboard test and nothing really worked i would have to push 2 buttons at once for one button to light up? please do a more detailed video..

Sweet.... i am currently trying to do this exact same thing. i was going to use a USB controller but i may end up having to run mame on a DOS machine and a keyboard interface would work much better.

i am not educated in this stuff enough but im not stupid either, but i know if you did a more detailed version of this video i could do a good job on one.
