No, what you did was good. Sometimes you got to really hide behind the reef. HerbDoggy got lucky and was already dropped down when the Uku came in so it didn't even see him drop. So it saw him hiding on the bottom and came in and the rest is history.
nice uku man i was on the west side oahu last weekend and seen my first uku and was trying to throw sand and stuff like i do for my uhu but it wasnt interseted at all what is a good trick to call them in or get close enough to get a shot off ?
