@skinkisd yeah I had prolo with Dr.Cennteno(now deceased), they did "address" my condition from a "holistic" viewpoint (this in prolo land means having patients take hugey profitable upscaled diet pills and vitamins-nothing but a scam). While having prolo i worked with a PT who practiced with Centenno, she cause me excruciating pain. She too had "helped countless numbers of patients". It's amazing how many of these prolotherapy MDs have helped so many patients and yet on the internet or in real
@PtAltmVansanTarr We're sorry you had a bad experience with Prolotherapy. Obviously we cannot speak for Dr. Centeno or how he performed his treatments, but at Caring Medical use a dextrose based solution with additives such as HGH, or Sodium Morrhuate and inject were the ligaments and tendons attach, not the muscles. Although we do suggest supplements to our patients, many of them take care of themselves well enough to not use them and still benefit from the treatments. Best of health!
Prolotherapy is a terrible scam. I had undiagnosed ACM/SM, the prolotherapy was not only incredibly expensive but very painful as you inject water into muscles already inflamed. These practitioners should be banned from medicine, you people have no shame, just ripping off the hoopleheads, huh?!?
Recently, I sustained neck and shoulder injury. After the first examination they suggested that Bursitis is the cause of my shoulder pain and recommended a Cortisone steroid injection to reduce the inflammation. The procedure is very quick and not painful as I expected but there is few side effects. Hot flushes, increased heart rate cold sweat and several hours after the injection ,injured area is more painful. However, 2 injections later,no improvement and Dr. recom the 3rd. NO WAY.
dont know what to tell you, i didnt try prolotherapy yet, but i feel scared to try it, my shoulder dislocated 5 months ago, and there still instability i suffer from. my shoulder would subluxate at will, i can slightly push the hea of my humures out of socket and this is really bad thing to do. is prolotherapy gona work for me? the idea is, once you pushed that injection into the shoulder, it doesnt come out again, so maybe it will deteriorate your shoulder joint. i dont know if to take it or no
@Some1cracker1 Nothing in Prolotherapy deteriorates the structures, now if you're talking steriod injections, that's a different story. This is not steriod injections. Prolotherapy injections contain dextrose which will cause inflammation and start your healing mechanisms to stabilize the shoulder. Check out prolotherapy dot o r g and prolonews dot c o m and our site at caringmedical dot c o m for all of the information you need.
dude prolotherapy is a lie, it doesnt heal a shoulder or a knee or anything, yes skinkisd its a lie, delete this comment if you want, but its a lie and it mess up the whole shoulder instead of working on it.so get off my face
@Some1cracker1 I never delete comments. The public deserves to hear everyone's opinion. I wish you could hear the opinions of the countless people Dr. Hauser has helped. I'm sorry it didn't work for you. I hope you were going to an experienced Prolotherapist who took into account your entire history, your overall health, your diet, and your exercise routine. Whatever path you choose to go down for your shoulder injury - we wish you the best of luck. Thank you for your comments.
I have had this done twice now. I had a motorcycle wreck a couple of years ago and tore my left shoulder up bad. i dislocated it, broke my collar bone and tore my rotatorcuff. Its getting better slowly but surely. The injections are very painfull and expensive and my take up to 8-10 times to fully heal. So beware.
The amount of injections required must surely increase the risk of severe infection which is a major risk from having one such injection let alone multiple injections
I have had great results with prolotherapy! I am 26 and have a longstanding injury to my shoulder. After several visits to other doctors (one of which told me shoulders were "supposed" to make a popping noise), I have reduced my pain and gotten my shoulder almost healed (about 90% back to normal) after a few visits.
I am tired to hear this work this is not work. I had 3 injections of these and it was a joke for me while it may work for others. However we have to say that this procedure has like a 30 % rate percent of success and no over 70 or 80% how some doctors claim. Go look on the various forum on internet and see how many people are happy with it
@djpavlovic I thought he was injecting ozone? I guess prolozone and prolotherapy are diffrent? In that prolotherapy involves injecting a 'dextrose solution' into affected areas. and prolozone involves injecting ozone/ ozone rich substance into affected areas...
It works, I had it done a few times on my neck due to a bad injury, done on my lower back and foot, It is long lasting and a person may not need more than one treatment, it beats taking pain killers which have been proved to be very dangerous and addictive!

If you have a torn structure in your shoulder this method will never work. Torn structures need to be sewn together.

It does work, forget what Mike says. Its been proven with MRI tests showing regeneration, so there is no debate.
