Thank you for that and I think will feed her live when I get her she is a red morphed crestie and looks amazing when flamed up thanks for your info you got great bids and tips I will always be subbed, thanks again
I'm going to buy a crestie and I know you can get types of morphs and was just wondering weather different morphs need different accomidation? And also I already have a exo terra terrium but do I HAVE to feed her live insects?
@12mralfie Morphs are just colors and patterns, they don't have a bearing on care, nope. You don't have to feed live if you are feeding Crested Gecko Diet/Repashy Superfood, but they really do grow a lot faster and my laying females do tend to keep their weight/health up if they get live.
@stolenmilkcrate i can't explain how they are. can you plz search on google images to see how they are and then tell me if it is a proper house for crested geckos?
@NicKtheGreeK1100 Oh... all screen enclosures? Those would not be something I would use. The geckos climb the screen and crap down the side, which looks gross and is difficult to clean fully, and in winter here at least, it becomes much too dry with the heat running to keep humidity at a good level. Your mileage may vary!
@NicKtheGreeK1100 Thanks. If you run into humidity issues (largest problem I have had with screen enclosures), you can always put plexi-glass, saran wrap, or a damp towel on some of the sides. Screen just didn't work for me unfortunately... would have liked the lightness of the enclosure but humidity problems + they kept crapping through the screen which would fall onto the shelf or carpet, haha. Gross little buggers.
Ohh!! What a lovely sight!! What a little cutie. So perfect & it looks as if it will have lovely markings. Male or female?? Exciting now to find out which. Thanks, JB.

@stolenmilkcrate so it isn't annoying for a crestie to climb on the small holes?
NicKtheGreeK1100 5 months ago
@NicKtheGreeK1100 Small holes? You mean the holes in the screen? No, they climb on it all the time.
