Listening to such music on youtube is very healing. I realise I didn't dream the 80's-there really was an era when it was great to be young, when one fashion outrage followed another; when things felt new and different and an improvement on the music before.

There was something for everyone in the 80's. We were spoilt for choice. OMD were not my favourite band, but miles better than anything today.
