i think for children joining singing contests, the songs should be more like this one. great song and fit for their age. there are songs out there where they can show their talents (belting out high notes for one..) aren't they guided somehow by the stations running the shows? in american idol, they are free to choose their own songs. but these are children thus they need guidance.
