Lookin' good, there's so many hardy plants ya all got there,....as for the lettuce babies ya sent me, haven't gotten around to planting them, will do, i guess if its cloudy, rainy and COLD(57°F at 2:22) since sunday, this is just the clime for lettuce and other cool weather crops,...thumbs up my dear Ari, say HI to Michael, the boys and thankin' ya for the personal update of ya all!! =D
@4GreenEarth2 Hi there, I didn't try it yet. I had to pull myself up by the bootstraps after my fall crop got crushed.. move on the table. Have to make a decision soon. I will most likely move even if it just another local hop. But I am looking forward to seeing & tasting! I feel in love w/ the way it looks on your video. Thanks!
i miss you-i am so very happy for you with the prospects of work---i would just have to assume that art is a passion and a joy--however---when one puts the label job on something---it jades the passion and expression---i send blessings sister---i will be coming out of my shell soon---i have had to deal with personal job issues and the future of my employment---i think the rainbow rays showering down from heaven are syncing humanity and liberating humanity--we are all so very blessed--peace
@GreenhouseSalvation Thank you! It has just been nuts here. But we are handling it well! Good to hear from you. I am struggling with some of the art right now. I am not accustom to that at all. But I will get it done. :) Stay strong & well! Love, A
The only thing I have growing are my onions, the spinach, and some carrots I planted too late in the fall. The onions are OK now for green onions, the spinach is healthy but dormant. and the tiny little carrots are hardly more than spouts. I'm sure they will come along quickly when spring gets here. Your lettuce looks great, but it's just too early for that here.
@therealvirginiawind Good to hear. Much of it goes dormant but our temps go from really cold, teens all the way into the 70's. The lettuce in the first year was in pots & taken in & out slowly get it acclimated to the colder temps. These reds now do really well with it. Even under snow. Maybe the green leaf will do better in a couple more seasons. Lettuce was planted in fall. Will start some more early spring, these will want to bolt quickly in just a few short weeks.
