  • Don't quit your day job!

  • pelo preço com certeza o tascan, vou comprar o tascan, obrigado pelo teste!!!

  • bless you! I've been looking for some tascam tests and finding this was awesome! plus the arrangement for wonderwall was nice! Rock on!

  • I honestly didn't hear much difference between the two recorders.

  • Great comparison video. Thanks. Actually, the Canon 7D mic didn't sound half bad. (at least in the beginning of the video) Wide range and both vocal and guitar sounded bright. The Zoom has that charateristic bassy sound. I have the Zoom H1 and it too has that bassy sound. Something I like and don't like about it. It makes my Carlo Robelli guitar sound great but i want something with more highs for vocals so I'm checking out the DR-05. Your wife sounds real good. Hope she enjoyed the concert.

  • I think the H4N is way better overall. I do think the Tascam would sound a lot better if it were within 12" of the vocal in fact the both would. Nice thing about the the H4N is you can run a condenser on a boom and get close and blend the sound. Nice test. My opinion may be skewed by the fact my H4N is coming today and my hacked GH1 can't wait.

  • wow H4N makes really big difference in recording sound...

  • Could you do a video again with both recorders close to each other? :) I feel the mic placement can affect the sound quality drastically. :)
