@Matthew1944 God requires payment for sin, the sin we have committed. The blood is symbolic for death, essentially. Without Jesus paying the debt for our sins, we ourselves must pay them; our blood must be the sacrifice (i.e. in hell)

One must closet oneself and ask for forgiveness and God will know what we need. Nothing more. (Daniel 3:25) There are hundreds of references to the coming Messiah, all of them fitting Jesus perfectly...

I dont know if you noticed but Jesus only spoke of God and heaven in metaphor. There is no other way. It cant be directly spoken about. So running around literally thinking the whole point of God/Jesus/existence was to have Jesus blood sloshing everywhere washing everything(so to speak) is really really missing the mark. Sacrifice and redemption..Its a very human concept in nearly all religions.

It is human to err, like it is human to say that without bad there could not be good. That is a false pretense. Where in the garden the temptation is to be as gods because they will know the difference between good and evil, which means that good existed and is possible to exist without evil's presence, or even knowledge of evil existing.

Well before 1611, the Bible was available, just not in the quantity made possible by the advent of the printing press. The Bible has always been available. It (the Bible) even speaks about being perfectly preserved, and having existed before the foundations of the earth, which would mean that it supersedes all history. Why else would you think that it still to this day manages to keep ahead of scientists? It was given with such inspiration that every common man can understand. IF they so choose.
