Richard Wayne "Rich" Mullins (October 21, 1955 – September 19, 1997) was an American Contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter born in Richmond, Indiana.
Mullins was best known for his worship songs "Awesome God" ,His music has been covered by many artists, including Caedmon's Call, Five Iron Frenzy, Amy Grant, Carolyn Arends, Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, John Tesh, Chris Rice, Rebecca St. James, Hillsong United and Third Day.[1]

That bringer of light will lead many into darkness with the easy path and cheap tricks of his show boating. Understand that your belief takes no faith nor a strong spirt but quite the opposite. The only miracle I need to see is the fact that man still has the ability to choose who he wants to follow. I will pray to our God until the end though the world will turn away.
Religion is not faith, words and action of men can be used to turn people of to God. You can't judge my God on the action of a few who claim do his work. We have the bible to read and understand not for someone to interpret and understand for us. I am appalled at the actions of supposed religious men give my God a bad name, and they will pay for that if they don't repent. The church can be abused for power, but as free men we must not blindly follow but seek the truth ourselves.
This is a beautiful and truly inspiring song. I thank Him for giving me ears to hear it, bless and keep those who cannot, and pray for those who will not. God go with you all
