that was awesome...i hope to do this one day....just backwards. i would love to see my surroundings go from concrete to green to orange to palm trees....ahhh one day!!
who ever dislikes this video is a one or more jealous mother fckers. Amazing job bro much love from derinev .. Aydin & Deniz ......... would like to make music for this video or use it for one of hour tracks if its cool with you derinev.us check our music ...
@Grillinnap I think it was filmed but broken up a bit you can see it skips from like memphis to nashville, and from what appears to be the Pocanos to the lincoln tunnel.
Thats awesome, one of these days I have to do this, I live in NY so it would be NY to LA, one of these days Im going to do it. Thats a lot of cool scenery on the way.
@831recklessranger831 That location is "37.26513,-109.628517". so copy and paste onto google maps. Lots of people get lost out here and end up on the back roads (dirt roads) and have to lead them back out onto the highway. Peace.
The car is actually a 1966 Chrysler 300! Anyway, this video was directed by Michel Gondry's brother Olivier Gondry for Lacquer in 2003. It's 16 mm photography shot at one frame per second of driving and one frame per ten seconds at night.
This is so awesome!!! I love how the closer he gets to NYC his wardrobe style changes slightly. But, WOW I can believe it took 7 days to get there! Great Job!
Empire State of Mind is nothing but bull. Yeah NY is a bigger city you got the queens, bronx and tall ass buildings everywhere you go but LA will always be better. Our sunshine, mountains, beaches, palm trees, walk of fame, celebrities, movie lights and studios, and our whole culture is something no one can understand unless you live here. California is my home for life!
Once I ran to the Pacific Ocean......well........I decided to run all the way back to New York City. Once I got there......well....hell......I decided I might as well run back again all the way to Venice beach.
I'm kinda ti-i-i-i-i-red. Think I'll go home know.
My bf drives an 18 wheeler from LA to NYC to deliver produce once a month. I went with him twice. Just came back from a trip with him. It took him four days to get there. I wish it could get compressed into 4 min it real life though, I would go with him all the time.
New York City is definitely WAAAY more fun than Los Angeles will ever make out to be. You could easily get bored of mountains, beaches, and the same weather every..single..fucking..day. But you can never get bored of all the excitement NYC has to offer, ever.
This video was made by the brother of Michel Gondry of "Eternal Sunshine" fame for the French band Lacquer. The trip actually started from San Francisco and passed through Las Vegas and St. Louis.
