Gail Ann Dorsey and Reeves Gabrels with Carlos Alomar in this band. Carlos is great at playing parts correctly that support the song and Reeves is an over the top monster player-they work really well together here...you can't really say who is better or who dominates the performance-they are both serving the song perfectly...
What i love about Bowie's music...and this "band" of musicians (esp. Alomar), is that it seems to only, and always be about the MUSIC, not the coolness...or the fame of it all. but about the raw, pure sound they generate as a team.
What is noticeably amazing is the versatility of Carlos Alomar. He does invented the riff to "Fame" and can do industrial! Fucktacular! The rest of the band is tearing a hole throught the roof, too.

i think this is one of the best bands Bowie ever played with, they suit each other very well.
Every bandmember is great on his own, but ex Tin machine Reeves gabrels steals the show and put his mark on the
whole tour ... over the top... Bowie at his best !!l
